BENEFIT:
To get yourself ready for the holidays, log onto benefitcosmetics.com and check out their wonderful Bathina body line. I had the chance to try their Enchanting Beauty Bubbles, Sweet Satin Shave, and Body So Fine. I started out bathing in the beautifully scented bubble bath. It left my skin so clean, and extremely smooth, and I carried the light scent all through the night. In the bath, I used the shave, which is a creamy mousse. Again, the light scent was awesome, and I couldn't believe how soft my legs were. A little goes a long way too. After the bath, I used the Body So Fine, which is a body balm. It glides on with the included puff, and almost turns to a powdery satin. I love to use it on my chest and shoulders, and it makes my bare legs look not so bare. They call it body lingerie, and it can't be described any better than that. TOO FACED:
Too faced has some new products and great kits to get yourself all "glammed" up for the holidays. There are 4 kits in all. The first is called Disco Doggy. It is cute little kit with
3 mineral glitter pots, Golden Girl, Peach Fuzz, and Purple Rain. The kit also includes a little Too Faced doggy key chain --all for $25. The next kit is called PupStar, and contains mineral glitter pots as well, only three different colors this time. They are Silver Spoons, White Heat, and Red Hot. This one also has a key change of Fi-Fi the poodle, and it is $25 as well. The next kit is also $25, and is called Radio City. This kit is for the girl who must have the perfect finger and toe nails. It includes four new nail laquers, along with toe separators, and a nail file. The colors are divine, and are perfect for any season. The next kit, another one for the nails is called Tinsel Town. Guess who the nail laquers are names for...they include, Drew, Gwyneth, Angelina, and Julia. This kit also includes the toe separators, and nail file too. At $25, this kit is great for the movie lover. For the new products, I had a chance to try After Glow. It is multi-function powder. I have the color Love, which is very light white with pink and purple hues. I love to dust it on my cheeks, with or without blush, and on my eyes when not wearing eyeshadow. I have also used it on top of a clear lip gloss, for a really shimmering effect. This little pot retails for $18.50, and a little goes a l-o-n-g way. I also tried a few of the new eye shadow duos. First up was George & Weezie. It is a great gold & bronze duo. And as always, the colors went on silky smooth and lasted all day. I also tried Fatasy Island, which is a teal green and a white/silver mix. I was a bit skeptical, as I don't like really harsh colors, but the teal was a beautiful accent to my green eyes. I was thrilled to have tried it, and will use them both a lot. Lastly I tried one of their new lip glosses, entitled S.W.A.K. which stands for Sealed with a Kiss. I am hooked on First Kiss, which is a light lavendar with just a touch of glimmer. It tastes great too, just like a chocolate truffle.This is a great addition to Too Faced's line for only $17.50. BeautiControl:
I was recently turned onto products by BeautiControl, which is a similar type company as Mary Kay. They are owned by Tupperware, and the products are sold in simmilar ways. They concentrate on your total body image, from clothes, to diet and nutrition, to beauty products. I have tried a few of their great new holiday products. The first is from their spa line, which is a sugar body scrub. I have recently tried a few of the new sugar scrubs, and I have to say that this one is the best I have used, and for the best price. It is a fine grain sugar scrub to gently exfoliate, dead dry skin. It left my skin slightly scented and very smooth and silky. Next, I tried two of their Secret Agent products which help to diffuse light from wrinkles and skin imperfections, while adding that special young glow. I tried the Undercover Line Smoother, and the Wrinkle Deflector. The line smoother is to be used under foundation, and the glow actually comes through your foundation. I used the wrinkle deflector over my foundation under and around my eyes (crows feet areas). It instantly made them look smoother and tighter, and gave my overall appearance a smoother look. So far, I love the products I tried from BeautiControl, and can't wait to try the rest, and bring you my reviews of them after the first of the year.
Lucky Chick:
One of my favorite new beauty product companies has got to be LuckyChick. In addition to their great
bath and body themed kits (see my review here: Lucky Chick Reviews) they have a new hand cream in their most popular formulation of essential oils and fragranced with their famous Mimosa, Jasmine, and Violet combined scents. This wonderful smelling cream is sold in a 4 oz. tube, and is the perfect size for your purse. It is full of Aloe and Vitamin E to help keep hands their smootheset. I use it after every hand wash, and am extremely pleased with the results. For $12.00 it is a great gift for yourself!
Tony & Tina:
