Best Bronzer: BECCA Mineral Bronzing/Highlighter Duo.

I love to bronze - that is a fact.  When going out or for an extra special look, I love to add in a bit of a radiant glow too, and for that I reach for this, BECCA Mineral Bronzing/Highlighter Duo.

In one compact you get both a beautiful matte light bronze to wash cheeks in a beautiful bronze wash, while on the other side there is a highlighter that gives off a soft, radiant glow. Not only do I apply the highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones, I also apply a bit under my brows and a gentle touch of it on my chin and nose to just glow, all over.  It is soft, as in not a hard highlighter that can sometimes accent fine lines.  This one actually softens my look while making my lines look less visible, sort of out-of-focus, if you will.

This bronzer is very luxe in formula and in packaging.  It sells for $43.00 online at beccacosmetics.com, as well as others such as b-glowing.com, glow.com and dermstore.com.

Best Bronzer: Sue Devitt Gel Bronzer SPF 40.

This bronzer from Sue Devitt tricked me at first.  The package I received was not labeled, so I thought it was a dark foundation.  When I swiped a small amount on my skin I thought, this is no foundation. I needed to know what it was because it felt so silky soft and my skin and I wanted to figure out how to wear it.

Checking on SueDevittBeauty.com, I quickly learned that this was her Gel Bronzer, with an SPF of 40! Oddly enough, it does not look like a gel, but felt a bit like it as I applied with the enclosed sponge. My curiosity was peaked.

Take a look at the quick description:

Made with restorative Algae Extract that prevents collagen and elastin degradation and preserves elasticity, it also has protective antioxidant benefits from Babao Seed Extract, while Sunflower Seed Oil is deeply moisturizing. Formulated with spherical powders to ensure a luminous but non-oily finish, this bronzer can be blended for a natural sun-kissed look or layered for more intensely bronzed coverage.

That about sums up why it felt like a gel and feels so nice on my skin. The color was a deep rich golden bronze and that made me like it even more.

Sue Devitt Gel Bronzer SPF 40 is available on online at suedevittbeauty.com as well as dermstore.com, select Macy's and Sephora stores.
