Like icing on the cake, lip gloss is the ultimate topping when it comes to makeup. Yes, gloss may be a dime a dozen, but I am quite particular when it comes to my lip gloss.  Yes, only the best will do. 

Some of my favorite glosses come from Bobbi Brown. New for Fall, Bobbi has completely reformulated her High Shimmer Lip Gloss and has launched a High Shimmer Lip Gloss Collection.

This new formula features a special mix of pearls in a clear base for the ultimate in shimmer, shine and color. Plus, it’s good for lips too thanks to moisturizing emollients and Vitamins C and E that condition and offer antioxidant protection.

Another new important tidbit to note about all of Bobbi's glosses, they are all larger sized now and will come with a convenient doe foot applicator. After countless requests from lip gloss aficionados, Bobbi listened and made this change for us! Yay.

I have not stopped thinking about the Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell Collection since I was sent the images a few weeks ago. Like I said in the post, this collection is made up of products perfect for my skin tone.

I am loving this collection for summer, how about you? The shades are so perfect for a soft, natural look, but can be deepened by layering on the darker shades. OF course, the Espresso eyeshadow makes the perfect eyeliner, and can be applied wet or dry.

Inspired by her own tortoise shell frames, Bobbi Brown has created this new Tortoise Shell Collection to complement glasses, not compete with them. I do not wear glasses, but I can see my self wearing the shades of bronze, gold and espresso.

The tortoise cases that the palettes come in are very elegant and beautiful too.  They are a new type of palette, as it seems to raise open and have two palettes of four shadows on top of each other.  If you look carefully at the image, you will notice how unique it is.
