Friday Finds: January 4, 2013.

1. Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum - $30.00
This hair serum has replaced my other favorite Argan Oil treatment as this one is better, if you can believe it. This feels like a serum as I rub it into my hands and then glide over my hair. It is great for the dry winter frizzies and flyaways. Plus the shine I get while using this is incredible.

2. BUXOM Divine Goddess Luminizer in Venus - $28.00
This beautiful cream luminizer in the shade Venus is warming up my skin with an incandescent glow. The light sheer, shimmering finish is perfect to mix with foundation, or wear under or over it. I like wearing it high on my cheekbones over foundation, after I apply bronzer.

3. beautyADDICTS™ SHOWOFF Mascara - $20.00
This mascara infused with Argan Oil brings the wow. The curved brush helps deposit the super lengthening formula onto lashes as the oil conditions and protects them while wearing. Even better, just one coat that never clumps or smudges is all I  need for a long lash everyday look.

4. M·A·C Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm Compact SPF 30 - $30.00
This solid balm evens skin tone, blurs imperfections, enhances natural luminosity and retexturizes skin, all with an SPF of 30 to prime skin for a flawless look. If you have very even skin, you could get away with this on your own. For me, I use this under foundation as a primer. My foundation hasn't looked better in a long time.

5. Sephora Collection Outrageous Prisma Chrome Metallic Eyeshadow Taupe #6 - $16.00
There is nothing quite like a metallic taupe shadow. It is the perfect shadow to accent my eyes. This creamy soft metallic shadow glides onto my lids and leaves the most beautiful taupe shade I crave. It is perfect for any look day or night. I use it dry for day, but kick it up by applying it wet for night.

Happy Friday!

As we get closer to Christmas, I am noticing more and more holiday and seasonal items. Here are a few that I have found just in the last few days. These are all perfect and spot on for not just the holidays, they are pretty great for all winter.

Hand sanitizer is a must, especially in the winter when indoor germs are at its peak. If you have to use it, you might as well use one that smells yummy, and curbs your candy cane cravings.

This week, I discovered a few new items. Some are especially great for the holidays, and a few are some that I have wanted to try for quite some time.

1. Maybelline Sequins by Color Show - $3.99
These beautiful sequined nail top coats are perfect to jazz up nails for the holidays. In my book, I could wear sequins any day of the year, so I would wear sequins on my nails (or anywhere else for that matter) any day of the year. Tis' the season for candy canes. I adore the strong peppermint flavor of a candy cane, but can most definitely do without the calories. I am happy to report that it does, and makes my lips super shiny too. I've been applying it on top of my gloss all week.
