The Sheer Blonde Entourage Comes to a City Near You with a FREE Concert and Hair Makeover.

We've always heard that blondes do have more fun. Being a not so natural blonde, I can attest that I always feel more full of life and fun the brighter my blonde. Now, the John Frieda team is out to prove this fact with the Sheer Blonde Entourage, a series of events and perks available for blondes. How fun! I am so excited and am honored to be at the inaugural event next week.

Here are the details I know so far. The blonde VIP program begins on March 18th in New York City at the Highline Ballroom with a private performance by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and blonde icon Natasha Bedingfield (whose third album drops this spring, by the way).  This elite and one of a kind event lets all girls experience the benefits of being blonde with the royal treatment, from makeovers at hair stations to complimentary food and beverages—all set to the music of Natasha Bedingfield.

The concert is completely free for all who sign up at: www.forblondesonly.com. If you are not in the New York City area, don't fret. The tour will be making it's way around the country with stops in the cities of Miami, LA, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia. Check out the website for all of the details and to sign up.

Nice 'n Easy Makes it Easier.

Hair coloring at home has become really simple in the last few years. The easy to follow instructions make it a cinch. The most difficult problem, I believe is in finding the right hair color for your hair. Making it easier is Gigi, your new Guardian Girlfriend, from Clairol’s Nice ‘n Easy.

Check out actress Angela Kinsey from NBC’s “The Office", who plays the role of Gigi, a trusted friend who always tells it like it is!  Gigi is there to help and guide you to get over your fears of at home hair coloring by providing helpful tips and tricks (can always us those!) and helping you to choose the perfect shade of hair color, right on Clairol's website.

Nice 'n Easy is my go to at-home hair color. I try others, but seem to continually go back to Nice 'n Easy. Not only is it easy, the conditioning color seal gloss treatment a favorite, and it covers my grays and evens out my hair color each time. By that, I mean, it looks natural, blends all of my hair into one shade, but with different tones and highlights. It never looks flat, which is what I love. Can I just say how happy I am that they just added a new Light Golden Blonde shade to their range of colors. Medium Golden Blonde was always a bit too dark and I would mix that with another shade to get the lighter golden blonde that I crave. No more, and I am so thankful for that.

Check out the Clairol site, find your shade and listen to Gigi's tips. Don't be afraid to take the plunge. As long as you are not tempting anything too drastic and staying within your shade range and not going up or down two shades, you results will be what you expect. Nice 'n Easy can be found at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide for around $8.00.

Hair is Definitely an Affair at the L'Oreal Paris Color Space.

One of the most fun sections here in the L'Oreal Paris Color Space is the hair section. Or sections, I should say.

There is a section all about shampoo, and conditioner. You can speak with one of the L'Oreal Paris hair care experts to find out what product line is best for you. Whether it be from the Vive Pro line or my favorite EverPure sulfate-free line, you can find out which is best for you hair type. You will even get to take home some samples of your recommended products.

Next, you move on to the Hair Styling section, where you can learn all about the Studio Line of hair styling products. Here, another L'Oreal Paris expert will talk to you about your hair care styling needs and suggest the products for you.  You will then leave with a customized write-up with your product suggestions.

Next, if hair color is your thing, and really, who doesn't love to play with hair color or at least find out exactly which hair coloring products are perfect for your hair type, skin coloring, etc. You can find out about all the fun highlighting methods, or move straight onto color. There is a section for Blondes, Brunettes, and Redheads.
