Mascara Monday: L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara.

I've been a long time fan of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara line. For big, bold, look at me lashes, it never fails. The brand is launching a new one (out next week), and I am super excited about this one. Meet L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara.

The name butterfly is no coincidence. It is named specifically for the Butterfly Brush™, a breakthrough in brushes, in my opinion. This asymmetrical, ergonomic, wing-tip brush with flexible arches is designed to lift the outer corner lashes for a flared effect. The uniquely-shaped brush features tightly packed bristles that work to "trap" lashes and extend them outward from corner to corner.

The formula is super silky and packed with fibers. Each Voluminous Butterfly Mascara includes 1.2MM fibers, actually, that instantly coats lashes in a soft, delicate veil for longer looking lashes with up to a whopping 6X the volume.

I am loving this mascara. I use the curved side for upper lashes, but prefer the flat side for the lower. One coat is great for everyday, and I definitely notice more definition with this than with any of the other Voluminous Mascaras I have used. I don't necessarily notice any special flaring in the corner, but longer-thicker, better looking lashes, overall for sure. I do notice a lot of lift, and that really opens the eye. It looks especially great when paring it with a deep black liner on the upper water line. This really opens my eyes. If I really want to have a bold look, then I apply two to three coats and am wowed each time.

Mascara Monday: L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Excess.

This new L’Oréal Paris mascara is not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for the biggest, boldest lashes and can handle a big brush, then this mascara is for you. Introducing L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Excess.

Voluminous Million Lashes Excess Mascara brings together extreme definition plus intense volume in one formula. This mascara features the same Clean Sweep Wiping System as the legendary Million Lashes mascara but this one has a bigger brush. The bigger brush makes it easy to get maximum separation for an a defined look, while the formula plumps lashes to the excess - all in one coat.

In fact, the brush has 50% more bristles than the original. It has both long and short bristles to separate and coat each lash from root to tip. Mascara Monday: L’Oréal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara.

I am a big fan of the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous line of mascaras. When I tried False Fiber Lashes Mascara, I was plenty excited. I love the look of flase lashes and do what I can to get that look without actually wearing them. And that is the point of this mascara.

You see, the power of False Fiber Lashes comes from two things - the brush and the formula.

The brush is slender, but full and thick with its slighly curved, cone shape. One coat and lashes are bold. Two coats and they are perfectly bold and bigger than you would expect.  Three coats, and you can start to get clumpy lashes, so be careful if you must, but stopping at just two coats is plenty of lash for me. My lashes look big and bold, almost fake, all day, with no smearing, flaking or clumping.

The formula is made up of dual-fibers, that utilizes a combination of super-fine nylon and rayon fibers. The ingenious mixture perfectly adheres to natural lashes, all the way from the root to tip, thanks to the special polymers in the formula.
