Urban Decay Half Baked Mini Eyeshadow Palette + 5 Tutorials

I shared how I love mini eyeshadow palettes and use them the most out of my vast eyeshadow palette collection. Urban Decay’s NAKED Your Way Mini Eyeshadow Palettes are my latest love this summer.

My pick out of all three of the NAKED Your Way Mini Eyeshadow Palettes is the Half Baked Mini Eyeshadow Palette. The Half-Baked palette features six blazed, bronze-toned neutrals inspired by fan-favorite shade “Half-Baked”.

I like how the shades in this palette blend together and can flatter a variety of skin tones. I especially like how the colors can enhance eye color. Have you ever noticed that about eyeshadow?

I have blue-green eyes that can look hazel or bluer, depending on the eye makeup that I use. When I use shades like these in the Half Baked Mini Eyeshadow Palette, my blue-green eyes really stand out and look more bright blue — I love that!

Half Baked shade lineup:

  • Rollin' (golden beige satin)

  • Half Baked (golden bronze shimmer)

  • Rocky (gold to pink duochrome metallic)

  • Buck Off (warm medium brown matte)

  • Breadwinner (copper metallic glitter)

  • Edible (deep brown matte)

This mini eyeshadow palette features the perfect mix of shades for highlighting, and contouring the eyes and lining. I use Rollin’ on the brow bone and Edible to line my upper lid. I use Buck Off on my lower lash line and smudge it out for a softer line; this really softens the look and enhances my eye color. For a nighttime look, I add a bit of Edible and mix it with Breadwinner and add it to the outer lower lash line and blend it out.

bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer

What do you need for an instant dose of post-beach radiance without actually heading to the beach? A great self-tanner and bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer.

A blonzer you say? Yes, a blonzer! It is exactly wat you think it is…

bareMinerals has reintroduced everyone’s favorite 2-in-1 blush-meets bronzer, Gen Nude Blonzer. Available in three rosy-bronze shades designed to flatter all skin tones, this a must-have summer product.

Gen Nude Blonzer is available in the following shades, from palest to darkest tone.

Kiss of Pink - a warm pink shade

Kiss of Copper - a copper peach shade

Kiss of Rose - a bronzed rose shade

As I mentioned, these are designed to flatter all skin tones. If you are more fair, then go with Kiss of Pink, If you are sporting more of a tan, then go with Kiss of Copper of Kiss of Rose.

Gen Nude Blonzer Kiss of Rose

I have most often been wearing Kiss of Rose over this bronzer as I like the deeper tone and warmth it bring to my skin. When I going for a more bronzey, beachy look, I have been wearing Kiss of Copper over this bronzer.

Each Gen Nude Blonzer sells for $25.00 and is available at Sephora.com and bareMinerals.com.

Urban Decay Naked Your Way Mini Eyeshadow Palettes: Sin, Foxy & Half-Baked

When it comes to neutrals, no one gets it done better than Urban Decay. Earlier this year, Urban Decay launched three mini eyeshadow palettes as part of their NAKED lineup but this time was different.

This time, Urban Decay created three NAKED Mini Eyeshadow Palettes using three of their popular eyeshadow shades as the basis for each palette. This made each palette personalized to your own personal style.

These are the NAKED Your Way Mini Eyeshadow Palettes. The shades: Sin, a blush tone; Foxy, an olive tone; Half Baked, a bronze tone.

All three of these NAKED Mini Eyeshadow Palettes are neutrals and come in the six mini pan eyeshadow palette size that we already know and love. The shadow itself is the velvety and blendable, highly pigmented formula that offers up to 12-hour wear.

Tip: Apply an eyeshadow primer first to make colors more intense, vibrant, decrease the chance of fallout (which you don’t need to worry about with Urban Decay) and last longer. This is my favorite. Once I am finished with my look, I further lock it in with a makup setting spray for 16 hours (or more) of freshly-looking applied makeup. I always use this one which also comes in versions to help mattify makeup or add an extra glow to skin.

The NEW Urban Decay NAKED Mini Eyeshadow Palette lineup:

Sin - 6 forbidden, blush-toned neutrals inspired by fan favorite shade “Sin”.

  • Sin (champagne nude shimmer)

  • Unlucky (pink champagne glitter)

  • Boring (dusty rose matte)

  • TBH (warm rose metallic)

  • Twisted (rosy brown matte)

Foxy - 6 funked-up, olive-toned neutrals inspired by fan favorite shade “Foxy".
