Les Jeans De CHANEL at Fashion's Night Out.

I cannot wait to pick up this trio of Nail Colour tomorrow night. Created exclusively for the big Fashion's Night Out, CHANEL creative director Peter Philips has me swooning over this mini collection of blue called Les Jeans De CHANEL.

Always creating trends that others follow, Peter has developed a trio of blue lacquers, inspired by quintessence of casual chic: denim.  A gradation of three shades, the colours range from deep to medium to very pale blue, evocative of the different styles and shades of one of the world’s largest wardrobe staples.

LE VERNIS

  • Blue Rebel
  • Blue Boy
  • Coco Blue

I am hoping to pick up Coco Blue. It looks like perfect sky blue shade, doesn't it? Perfect for my toes.

This very limited edition will be sold exclusively in CHANEL boutiques and on chanel.com beginning tomorrow night during the the various Fashion's Night Out CHANEL events.  It will be available until the end of the month, but I doubt it will last that long. A waitlist is on the website now. Hmm, I might just have to sign up now myself.

KRAKL Nails with Duri.

Have you seen the new crackled nail? I am sure you have, as it is one of the hottest beauty trends of the year.  I think it is really fun to add a colorful, two texture polish to the nails.  Just in time for this fun new trend is Duri KRAKL, a unique polish that separates and dries on the nail in a variety of artful “cracks” once applied over your favorite Duri nail color.

KRAKL comes in fours shades: Queen of Hearts, Black Widow, Madame de Pompadour and White Witch.

Applying a thin coat of Duri KRAKL over dry nail color will yield a skinny cracking pattern across the nail.  Wider cracks, such as the ones shown on the bottle’s cap, can be achieved by applying a thick, generous layer of the KRAKL formula.  Each time you apply, the KRAKL pattern is different!

Each KRAKL polish sells for $5.00, available on Duri.com.

Have you tried this fun new nail trend yet?

Celebrate the Fourth with Patriotic Nail Designs.

As we Americans celebrate the birthday of our great country, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with some patriotic manicures.  How cute and 4th of July appropriate are these nail designs?
