Bee Stung Lips - REALLY!

With a recent Sephora order, I selected Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme as one of my free samples. I have used the Lip Injection before (love Techno-Kiss!) and wanted to compare the difference between the two.

tf_lipinj.jpg

Well, OMG! What a difference - A-M-A-Z-I-N-G just after one am and one pm use.

I must warn you, this thick glossy substance burns - oh, yes - it burns. It burns more on the outside of the lips, so be very careful to apply it just to the lips. As I was applying it with my finger, it was hard to "stay within the lines". The burn doesn't last long though - so it can be dealt with. I fanned my lips for a few minutes, and all was well.

The effect was almost immediate, and WOW! Bee-stung my lips were. My lips actually pinked up in color and were quite glossy. The directions state to wait  a few minutes before applying any lip color - but I honestly didn't feel that I needed any. Maybe in another season, but for the summer, this was a nice, natural look.

I used the serum again at night, as per the directions. Not that I wanted my lips to be plump as I went to bed, but with continued use for 30 days or more, the effect should last longer. And the burning sensation didn't seem as bad this time. I am guessing that it will subside with continued use as well.

Ladies, I have tried many lip plumpers in the past, and I have to say that this Lip Injection Extreme gives the most immediate and full plump lips. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Lip Injection Extreme is available for $27.50 at toofaced.com, sephora.com, and qvc.com.

A GlowFusion Alternative.

If you have been searching for GlowFusion reviews, you have come to the right place. We have more than a handful of reviews from real people, and you can read all about them here: A Beauty Breakthrough

Not having the best experience with GlowFusion myself, I thought I would recommend my GlowFusion Alternative.

modelco.jpgModelCo Tan Airbrush In A Can  is my alternative of choice.  With a 360-degree nozzle spraying the finest of mist to cover every body area evenly, this self-tanner is the closest to GlowFusion - but with better results, for me anyway.

The Coverage: Great! The mist sprays out very fine, and if you take your time and spray slowly, you get very even coverage. I recommend buying the tinted version first to get a feel of how the spray works. Areas like the back of arms and legs, even the neck are easy to reach with this spray. I like this best for my neck, back, chest and arms. Hands are a breeze with this formula. All you do is keep your fingers closed tightly to avoid staining the palms, and spray lightly a bit further from your hands than you would normally spray your body, and you get a very light coverage. With you hands, remember that less is more!

The Smell: Very slight. When initially spraying the formula, you smell a scent of cocoa butter in the air. It is very light and fresh. The smell of DHA is ever so faint, and really doesn't appear until the color is fully developed in 3 - 4 hours.

Drying Time: Fast! If sprayed correctly, this self-tanner dries within 2 - 3 minutes. If you are spraying so much that you see your body wet, you are spraying too much.

Staining: The translucent formula does not stain or transfer anywhere. You can dress as soon as you are dry or slip right into white sheets and not worry. The original formula that leaves color when sprayed, will leave a residue on everything it touches as you spray. I spray it in an area of my basement with old sheets on the floor. Do not spray this version in the bathroom as you will notice a build-up of colored dust that is a real pain to clean. When using the colored formula, wait a good 15 - 20 minutes before dressing or slipping between the sheets.

Lasting Time: 5 - 7 days! REALLY, I spray myself with this once a week. Sometimes I will apply it after 5 days if I want to darken up a little more, but plan on a full body spray at least once a week.

Price: ModelCo Tan Airbrush In A Can comes in three sizes, 1.7 oz (good for 1 - 2 complete body sprays) for $7, 5.3 oz for $28, or 7.8 oz for $36.  ModelCo Tan Translucent Airbrush In A Can  comes in just one 5.3 oz size for $28.
