I am Still Here - Really!

Good Evening, all.

I am so sorry for the lack of posting this week, but I had to go out of town suddenly, and have had very spotty internet. And while all of my files and notes are at home, I figured I could at least spend some time surfing my favorite beauty sites. And I am so glad I did, as I found a wonderful sweepstakes to enter - and I hope you do too.

This sweepstakes is listed over at Sephora.com and is from Tarte - one of my favorite lines, e - v - e - r. It is called The Future Looks Beautiful. The prize is spectacular: A Trip to Utah's Red Mountain Spa, a personal trainer for six weeks, and the Tarte new Spring Collection featuring their Inside Out lip gloss and a years supply of Borba's Aqua-less Crystalline, and much more.

Wowzaaa - Click on over to enter yourself now.

Paint Yourself Pink!

Pink makeup = romantic makeup. And wouldn't it be nice to wear your romatic makeup on Valentines Day?

I am lucky to be fair skinned in which most pinks look nice on me. I prefer the soft pastel pinks, but I like just about any type of pink makeup. If you are not that into Pinks, take a few of my suggestions, and I bet I change your mind.

piink_lipgloss.jpgSephora has a cute line of products, entitled appropriately enough, Piink. And like they say, "The best things in life are pink". I love this lip gloss crayon ($5) in the line, especially in Milky Rose - the most beautiful shade of rose petal pink. It's ease of use in that is glides on like a lipstick out of it's chubby stick but it looks sheer and glossy and low price tag are a huge plus! I also like to use their My Miistic Shadow ($9) in Tender Pink, which is a loose powder eyeshadow in pink with a hint of gold. It is in the cutest container that you dip the sponge tipped applicator into to get to the shadow.

For blushing in pink, I have a few favorites.

More GlowFusion.

I do not even know if I should address this product or not.

Fusion Beauty's GlowFusion Airglow for $175.  The refills are $62. Gosh, that is a lot for a tan.

Honestly, this doesn't look much different than the Salon Bronze spray gun that I have seen on TV.

With so many comments on the GlowFusion product last summer, I am anxious to hear your thoughts on this.

Will I run out and purchase? No. Would I give it a try given the opportunity? Heck, yeah. But, where could you apply this? In the shower, and hope to dry right away and clean the shower? Or go outside and spray it and hope that the neighbors don't see? I imagine it will get all over the place when spraying.

Thoughts, anyone???
