Bobbi Browns Beauty Rules Book and Palette.

Ten years after her New York Times best-seller, Teenage Beauty, renowned makeup artist Bobbi Brown is back helping young women become their most amazing selves with her fresh, new beauty bible called Beauty Rules. Last week, Bobbi was on the Today Show a few times, promoting the book and giving out her best tips. Did you catch any of her appearances?

Bobbi said that whether a teen is posting pictures on Facebook or prepping for the prom, teens have never had a more difficult time embracing their beauty while staying true to themselves. In Beauty Rules, Bobbi builds beauty from the inside out with tips on everything from exercise and eating right to the importance of being a great friend. And, of course, there’s plenty about getting great makeup.

Beauty Rules is packed with ideas for fresh, healthy skin, pretty hair and makeup. For added inspiration, there are before-and-after makeovers and real-life advice from high-profile beauties like top model Coco Rocha (who wishes looked like her pictures in magazines) and superstar Hilary Duff (who hated her broad shoulders but got over it).

Bobbi walks readers through the basics of how to look pretty, naturally: including essential skincare, realistic diet improvements, exercise that’s fun and step-by-step makeup tips for everything.

Along with the launch of the book, Bobbi has introduced a Beauty Rules Makeup Palette.

This palette is perfect for teens. It can help to achieve a look from natural to dramatic, and of course, anything in between. The colors Bobbi selected are universal and just what a teen needs, especially when trying to decifer through the thousands of makeup products out there.

Beauty Rules is for sale at book stores and online at Bobbi Browns Cosmetics for $24.95. I am looking forward to reading it with my daughter. Of course, the palette is also available now, at Bobbi Brown counters, as well as online for $45.00.

Urban Decay just came out with a Cream Highlight product called Urban Glow and I think it will make my highlighting process that much easier.

The notes I got from Urban Decay on this new product just about it...
