Top 10 Bronzers.

Just a few brushes of bronzer swept across your skin and your entire look can be changed; your entire face is warmed up with a bronzed look to it. Bronzer is super easy to use and the best part is that you can control how much you apply it too. If you want your skin to take on a look of overall warmth, simply dust it over your cheeks lightly. If you want to look like you've spent the day in the sun, apply the bronzer with a brush where the sun would hit you, that is your cheekbones, nose, center of your forehead and your chin. If you want to look like you have a great tan, dust bronzer on like you would a powder, and that is lightly all over your face.

I use bronzer every day of the year to warm up my complexion a bit and a I use more bronzer in the summer months to give my skin that sun-kissed look. I have tried many bronzers and use different bronzer depending on the rest of my makeup.

Top 10 Lip Crayons.

I am obsessed with the newer type of jumbo lip pencil/lip crayon products that have sprung up onto the beauty market over the last few years. I love that these jumbo lip crayons (I am going to call them lip crayons for the rest of this post) are more of a hybrid lipstick/lipgloss and sometimes have a lip balm feel to them. Many brands have them -- some good, some not so good and some really great! I have tried many of them and have my favorites, of course. I use lip crayons a few times a week, that is how much I like them, and for this weeks top 10 I am going to share my favorites.

Top 10 Tips for a Safe Manicure.

I am a slave to the nail salon. Though I change up my nail color at home a few times a week. I get regular manicures at the salon every two weeks. I have been visiting the same salon for almost 20 years and have been seeing the same nail tech at that salon for about four years now, so I feel safe with both her and the salon. But there are a lot of unsavory salons and manicurists out there. Don't be fooled by those cheap nail salons that lure you in with the $5 manicures. They may have unlicensed nail techs or unsafe and dirty stations may just walk away with more than a great looking set of nails when you leave the salon. Pathogens are right at home in the warm and wet environment that salons provide and proper sanitation is the only way to prevent their spread. Robert Urfer, founder of Lucas-Cide Salon and Spa Disinfectant, offers 10 tips to ensure you're in for a safe mani/pedi.
