Your Best Skin: A Citrus Cocktail.

A Citrus Cocktail that improves skin tone? Yes, please!

By combining concentrated extracts of orange, lemon, lime and pomegranate, this powerful, yet gentle, exfoliation treatment is applied daily as a serum. Yes. As a serum.

Beverly Hills Skincare Decade Peel Exfoliating Serum is a gentle slow peel, if you will, that exfoliates over time, as you apply it every day.

This serum utilizes naturally occurring AHAs in fruits like oranges and lemon to increase the rate of cell renewal, while the natural exfoliation power of Wild Lime helps lifts dull, dry skin. The Pomegranate, a key component in the bright skin complex, is potent antioxidant that soothes and calms skin inflammation and irritation.

After using this serum every day for the past two weeks, I can see an improvement already. My skin feels more smooth than normal, just after applying, as if I just did a more intensive treatment. I also notice a bit more lightening of my dark spots that I am constantly working on. I am sure these fruit acids are boosting my natural exfoliation as process, as it should and is aiding in their lightening.

Decade Peel Exfoliating Serum can be purchased online through the Beverly Hills Skincare site for $119.95.

Your Best Skin: CAUDALIE Vinosource Moisturizing Cream Mask.

I am having the best time trying out so many new masks this winter, and my skin is saying than you. As my skin seems to be drier than ever, moisturizing masks are what I gravitate toward, and this week I tested CAUDALIE's Vinosource Moisturizing Cream Mask.

Vinosource is more like a facial in a tube! The thick mask feels extremely soothing as it is applied and my skin immediately feels hydrated, not clogged or congested as many thick masks make me feel.

The ingredient list is full of skin nourishing, hydrating and protecting wonders: CAUDALIE exclusive stabilized grape-seed polyphenols Vinolevure®, Grape-seed oil, sodium hyaluronate and glycerine, cornflower, essential oils of sweet lime, lemon, orange, hybrid lavender, coriander, vetiver, wild guaiac wood and sandalwood. No wonder my skin feels so great after using.

The mask instructions suggest leaving it on for 15 minutes, but like I said it is more like a facial in a tube. I tend to leave it on for a full thirty minutes to truly reap in as much moisture as I can. Even more special, this mask is so soothing and gentle, it is safe and effective on the delicate eye area. I apply a thin layer all around my eyes and eyelids as well as the mask making my mask facial complete.

Vinosource is available online at caudalie.com as well as fine department stores for $40.00.

Bobbi Brown's Baby Boomer Beauty Tips.

Bobbi Brown was on The Today Show yesterday sharing some beauty tips for baby boomers. One piece of advice that resounded so strongly with me is that you cannot do anything to your lips, medically speaking of course.  If you were born with thin lips or they are thinning, use a good lipstick, is basically what Bobbi said. I agree with her and believe that concept. If you want to use fillers or botox and the like, elsewhere, that is fine. Suddenly walking around with plump lips that you have never had is just a no!

Watch for the rest of her tips, along with actress Susan Saint James.
