Darphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm.

I haven't been secretive when it comes to the fact that I am not a big fan of cleansing oils. With this in mind, I was reluctant to try this new Cleansing Balm, but I opened my mind up to it. And I am more than happy that I did.

Seeing that is it from Darphin, I shouldn't have even flinched. This Aromatic Cleansing Balm is a very thick balm, infused with Rosewood Essential Oils.

As it mixes with water, it is transforms into a white milky cleansing emulsion. This emulsion cleansing every bit of makeup and dirt from the skin. My face is left so soft, fresh and clean feeling after using. I love the fact that I don't feel like I need to "rush" to put on my moisturizer, as moisture is definitely infused into my skin as I cleanse with it.

Only a tiny amount is needed, and as I said, it turns milky as you start to gently sweep it over a moist face.

The jar is $95 and is exclusive to Bluemercury. Celebrating ten years in the business, Marla, the owner of the Bluemercury shops, certainly knows how to pick some of the best beauty products and she is trilled to have this be an exclusive for them.

Wipe It Away with POND'S.

I panicked for a few minutes when I had left my trusty Korres Makeup Removing Wipes at home on my latest trip to NYC. Thankfully, I went to a great blogger party that was sponsored by some really great brands and in my gift bag was a package of these wipes from POND'S. I tried them out immediately.

The POND'S Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes saved me from having to run to Sephora, as when I travel, cleansing wipes are a must for me. These wipes took of my makeup in record time, leaving my skin clean and feeling fresh. I have been easily irritated by a good number of cleaning wipes in the past, so I was more than thrilled that these did not bother my sensitive skin.

These towlettes definitely whip it all away and easily. Equally as nice is that fact that one wipe removed every bit of makeup, including stubborn waterproof mascara, dirt, grime and oils. I usually need to use at least two wipes from other brands, to get a thorough cleansing.

For around $3 which includes 30 wet towelettes, I am smitten. Pick them up at your drugstore and become entranced as well. I even noticed a Micro Dermabrasion and Age Defying versions that I might try when I run out of these.

CHANEL Mousse Exfoliante Purete.

I may not have oily skin, but every now and then my skin needs a good "cleaning out". Though this new cleanser was made specifically for combination/oily skin, CHANEL's Mousee Exfoliante Purete, does an amazing job at cleaning out my pores while exfoliating the gunk out of them.

This high performing foaming cleanser uses a powerhouse of an ingredient, Tulip Tree Extract.

Tulip Tree Extract is a natural de-pollution agent known to effectively stop environmental aggressors before damage is done. This precious substance, secreted on the surface of the Tulip Tree’s leaves, traps pollutants that are then washed away by rainwater. Adding to the efficacy, Bioglucane, a biotechnological ingredient, empowers the formula to help preserve and protect skin’s barrier function. Combination-to-oily skin immediately sees benefits as gentle exfoliating beads and natural Meadowsweet Extract control surface oils. A luxuriously lightweight texture glides on for new suppleness and a healthy, natural glow.

Using Mousse Exfoliante Purete once a week has kept my skin in a better than usual shape. If your skin is more on the oily side, you would definitely benefit by using this everyday.

MOUSSE EXFOLIANTE PURETÉ Exfoliating Cleansing Foam Purity + Anti-Pollution is $45.00, on counter now at www.CHANEL.com, select CHANEL boutiques, and department and specialty stores.
