MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Plexi-Gloss Collection.

There are so many great makeup sets out for the holiday season and a few have really caught my eye as great values and true must haves. Think of it as a long-lasting lipstick in a gloss form as it is very pigmented with almost a vinyl finish. It is somewhat sticky, but not overly so where it is annoying. They are rich and moisturizing. I really like how it feels on my lips and I am super picky!

I have a problem. I am a lip product junkie. I don't think I can leave a store, whether it be a drugstore, mass retailer (Target, Walmart, etc.) or department store without picking up a new lippie. I even leave the Dollar Store with a new lip balm every time I head in there too. I just cannot resist a beautiful lipcolor. It literally changes the way a woman looks and feels about herself. When I saw the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque & Le Matte I knew I would be looking for more of these beauties at the drugstore because they are very unique. In a lip pen form in both matte and glow formulas, these highly pigmented shades are irresistible.

Before I get into each of the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche formulas, I just need to say how easy these sleek lip pens are to use. The pens are portable and twist up with a sharpened tip. But they don't apply like a "pencil", they are more pen-like as these are creamy and easy to apply. That's because the formulas are infused with Argan Oil and Safflower Seed Oil for a soft and smoothing appearance delivering deep hydration. In addition to that, nourishing oils, La Laque and La Matte also contains a blend of Vitamin E and antioxidants so lips are healing while wearing. That is always a good thing. And color payoff is incredible with both formulas - long wearing too.

Le Matte is somewhat more pigmented with a comfortable, creamy feel. This is full on color with a matte finish, but not dry, matte. The colors are beautiful and it's very long-wearing. The full on color lasts about 6 hours with some fading but there is some color left behind that lasts most of the day. There are also five shades of Le Matte.
