M·A·C has Lashes Haute & Naughty with its Latest Mascara.

Another launch from M·A·C today. This one is exclusive and it sounds very exciting, as it is a first of its kind mascara. Meet M·A·C Haute & Naughty Lash.

M·A·C Haute & Naughty Lash features a dual wiper system with two different sizes– one big and one small – that let you easily control the amount of mascara you use. Use the smaller orifice for superior separation, natural, beautiful and defined lashes; use the larger orifice for incredible volume and drama.

One Brush, Two Wipers. Two Looks = Two-In-One Mascara. The design is simple, but it provides a greater degree of flexibility and convenience in a single mascara.

M·A·C Haute & Naughty Lash comes in Haute & Naughty Black and sells for $18.00. It will be available exclusively at maccosmetics.com and nordstrom.com on July 19^th. It will be further available at all M·A·C locations, beginning September 16, 2010.

Spied at Nordstrom: MAC's Opulash Mascara.

What did my eyes spy when I walked through the Nordstrom beauty department yesterday? The newest mascara from MAC? The one that is said to give DiorShow a run for it's money?

Yes, MAC's newest mascara called Opulash was at the Nordstrom MAC counter, to which it is an exclusive. That is why I was confused, you see. I usually get press information prior to a launch, and I had not heard about this being available yet. 

I was pleasantly surprised and just had to purchase.

Here is the description:

"Big, fat, full, bouffant lashes! Dramatic density and curl achieved with a giant brush! Fibers go in all directions for thick, rich, even application with no clumping. Long-wearing formula—up to 15 hours—quickly thickens lashes root to tip."

In other words, Opulash is a volumizing mascara. It does a great job at both thickening and lengthening my lashes, without any clumping or caking. The brush is much larger than a standard size brush, and it is nicely tapered to insure easy coverage of lashes in the corners of eyes and the lower lashes as well.

This formula contains beeswax, which makes for a really smooth and even application. One coat gives my lashes what I like for everyday, and as it builds from there, so does the wow factor. Two to three coats gives me major lashes, the lashes I most often crave.

Besides adding volume, Opulash is said to add and hold a curl. I honestly do not have a problem with my lashes holding a curl so I did not notice a difference when using. I suppose those with stick straight lashes will notice this more than I would, so if you this you, let me know how it works for you.

For $14.00, this is a fabulous buy. The only shade available is Bad, Bad, Black. I bet if this is as good of a seller as I predict, we will see more colors to come.

As I said, Opulash is an exclusive to Nordstrom right now, so that is where you will have to pick it up before it is readily available at all MAC locations on May 27th.

I am anxious to hear more reviews, so please chime in with your thoughts. I honestly think MAC has a HUGE hit on their hands with Opulash. For those that are not MAC mascara fans, this one will have their minds changed.

Flirt! Cosmetics It Curl Lash Curling Mascara.

Flirt! Cosmetics, sold exclusively through Kohl's department stores, is launching a new mascara today. It Curl is their latest innovation with a patent pending brush to add volume and curl - just what every "It Girl" wants.

Flirt! says that according to clinical testing, when using It Curl, lashes' curl was increased by 144% immediately and volumized by 111%. That's what I like to hear. The bigger, the bolder, the better, in my opinion.

When testing It Curl, it took just two simple coats to give me the lashes I crave. I'm not sure if it was the brush or the lasting hold the formula gives, because my lashes stayed curled almost too much. For those that do not have stick straight lashes, you can skip the lash curler with this one. It's that effective.

It Curl is available today at Kohl's website and in store. The regular selling price is $14.00, but the web is telling me that this beauty is currently on sale for $10.99.
