Make It Lash: Get Kardashian Lashes with Khroma Beauty Stroke of Midnight Mascara.

Everyone wants to know the secret of Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashians lashes. Could it be their Khroma Beauty Stroke of Midnight Mascara? I doubt it, but you never know. I was glad to hear Kim say that she was wearing Khroma Beauty on "Live with Kelly & Michael" last week! In reality, I am guessing they have lash extensions. But their name is on this new Khroma Beauty Mascara (officially called Khroma Beauty Faux Lash Look Extra Volume Mascara), and I had to give it a try to see how it worked for me.

How to Get Kardashian Lashes

On first look, Stroke of Midnight has the type of brush I like. It is made of very stiff rubber bristles that really help separate lashes as it applies the lengthening and thickening, very pigmented mascara.

It is infused with a mix of six natural waxes to glide on and never flake, plus very dark pigments for the ultimate in color payoff.

I find that applying two coats of Stroke of Midnight is best for me. Three coats is maybe too much. The formula didn't clump, but too much made them sort of "gloopy" looking. Like I said, the formula never flakes, nor did it smudge. It lasted all day, and removed with regular eye makeup remover. My lashes did feel a bit stiff, but that also meant that my lashes stayed curled and in place all day too.

Khroma Beauty Stroke of Midnight Mascara sells for $9.99 at ULTA. It will be available in CVS and Sears come March.

Make It Lash: My Mascara Routine.

The ONLY mascara trick you'll ever need to know!

Are you as obsessed with your lashes as I am? I think I have a problem when it comes to big, bold lashes. I am constantly buying more mascara, want to FINALLY know how to get falsies on correctly, and even tried eyelash extensions about a month ago (a story I HAVE to share soon). I need help. To keep my obsession in check and to share with you, I have decided to start another new series that I am calling 'Make It Lash'. I need to talk about lashes on a regular basis and I think you will benefit too.

Before I get onto new discoveries, I want to tell you about my current favorite mascara routine. It's an odd one, but it is working really well for me. It is actually a three step process that involves two products and about two minutes. The two products: COVERGIRL LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara "Clump Crusher" and Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara "Star".

Step One

I apply one layer of Clump Crusher as a base coat. I do this rather quickly as it is only a base coat.

Step Two

I slowly apply Star mascara to my upper and lower lashes, being careful to use each side of the brush to get deep into the base of my lashes and then extending them at the tips.

Step Three

I carefully apply Clump Crusher as a top coat to deepen the color and plump up the volume. Using this last and as a hearty third coat ensures that I get the look I want with no clumps.

COVERGIRL LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara sells for about $6.99 at drugstores and Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara sells for $28.00 at Sephora.
