Top 10 Beauty Buys Under $10.00.

I am the first to admit that I have been a beauty snob most of my life. I discovered department store beauty while still in high school and my taste went up from there. I am so glad that I have opened my mind to drugstore products in the last few years. I can now say that some of my favorite beauty products are in fact, from mass brands that are sold in drugstores, and most under the $10.00 mark. By now you should be able to tell that I have a serious love for COVERGIRL and L'Oreal Paris, but I am also using a few other great drugstore beauty products too.

FingerPaints A Pair Affair by All Lacquered Up.

How cool is it that my beauty blogging friend, fellow Ohio gal (I grew up in Ohio) and superstar nail blogger Michelle Mismas from All Lacquered Up just created her very own nail polish collection? I can only imagine the fun Michelle had while working with Sally Beauty and their FingerPaints brand of polish to create A Pair Affair. What a dream! From concept to color, Michelle had her hand in it all. This is her collection.

Michelle told me, "Even before Sally Beauty approached me to create the collection, I was thinking how much I would love for a nail polish brand to come out with duos. Since I never wear just one color and my readers often ask me for color pairing suggestions, when the opportunity with FingerPaints came about, it seemed like fate."

I asked Michelle which shade was her absolute favorite. "Of course I love all the shades but Our Tips Are Tealed is a standout. Its sparkle factor is insane! Though I would have to say that my favorite duo is You Yacht To Know Better and Sarong So Right. I love a smoky blue and paired with a poppy coral, it has a cool, nautical feel. I like to wear it in a chevron moon manicure with Sarong at the base. It's a fun twist on such a classic, art deco design." Here is a photo from Michelle wearing that pair and design.

I definitely want Our Tips Are Tealed & Bare No Secrets. Michelle was wearing Our Tips Are Tealed when I spent time with her last month, and I've longed for it ever since. The colors in the collection all look so beautiful, but those two shades are calling me.

The over sized rubber tipped brush is designed to apply the rich pigments on lashes from root to tip. It adds volume, extends length and even creates and holds a curl. It does all this while it conditions for softness and flexibility.

I like the contoured handle of the wand and it helps to control the brush easier. The brush is the longest I have ever seen on a mascara. It really makes lashes super dark and thick. When wearing all day, I never experienced smudging, clumping or flaking.
