An Easy Way to Get Glamourous!

Maybelline New York makeup artist Jesus Abreu wants everyone to achieve a beautiful and glamourous look this holiday season, and he recently shared some helpful makeup tips with me on how we can all look our best.

Start with some matte powder like Maybelline New York’s Dream Matte Powder around the eye area and nose for a nice matte look.Since the eye is key, make sure they are expressive and defined. Dress them up with sparkling shadows from the Expert Wear Eye Shadow collection. For medium to dark skin use grey black and other dark tones that have a shimmer to them. Light skin should stick to warm, shimmery, earth tones. Line your eyes with a pencil and use the mascara that best suits you. A great one to try is the new Maybelline New York XXL Curl Power. It extends lashes into a 45° angle while volumizing and lengthening lashes.

Make sure to grow eyebrows in a little thicker and keep them groomed. If you’ve over-plucked, go over the brows with a brow pencil that matches your color and go over with a powder shadow that best suits your color (in harmony with your hair tone).
