With everything I put my hair through - coloring, blowdrying, teasing, curling, volumizing, flat ironing, hot rollers coupled with the environment and simply aging, my hair need a lot more than simple shampoo and conditioning treatment. I use special hair masks a few times a week and let them "stew" on my hair in the tub. I have my own little recipes, so to speak, for when my hair feels dull, dry, overworked or frizzy. It is dependant upon the year too.
