Touch-Up Roots in Photos with Shutterfly.com.

Have you ever thought you looked great in a picture only to discover your roots were b-a-d? You know how to touch them up in real life, and photo editing services help you reduce your red eyes and even whiten your teeth. But those dark roots?

Well, Clairol's Nice ‘n Easy and Shutterfly created a unique tool to remove unsightly roots from photos, so those roots of the past can be banished. How exciting! This is the first tool of its kind and it was created exclusively for Shutterfly to help virtually make-over roots!

This new and exclusive tool can be found through this special Shutterfly link beginning tomorrow, June 1st.

In addition to being able to easily upload your photo and “repair your roots”, Shutterfly has created a fun “Root Blaster Game” where you need to spot the women who need root touch ups. A winner of the live contest will win a trip to the Dominican Republic!

I am so excited about this new tool and cannot wait to try it out for myself tomorrow. Remember, the tool will not be live until June 1st.

Hoping that you will join me in trying out this new tool, I have partnered with Clairol and Shutterfly to offer a great little contest. Ten winners will receive a coupon code for a free 8X8 photobook on Shutterfly. This offer is good for an 8 X 8 hard cover 20 page photo book worth $29.99. To be entered into the contest, this is what you will need to do:

That's it.

Ten winners will be randomly selected from all of the correctly submitted and uploaded entries. Contest will close at 11:59 PM EST on June 30th, 2010.

Stay tuned for some real Root Touch-Up tips from Clairol's new color director, celebrity colorist Marie Robinson.

Guerlain Terracotta Collection 2010.

The first powder bronzer I ever used was a Terracotta from Guerlain. I remember reading about it's bronzing perfection in Glamour magazine and saved up my allowance to purchase it from the May Company. I think I was just 16 or 17, and having only used gel bronzers before, I was excited to try this new wonder. I have been hooked on the Terracotta bronzers ever since, and pick up a new one each summer season.

Well, this summer, there is much more to want from the Guerlain Terracotta Collection. Read on and you will see why.

I am so thrilled that the warm weather is here. What a better way to celebrate the season with more color on our nails. I do like the darker shades in the colder months, but now that warmer times are here, it is time to change our volor selections, don't you think. I am loving all of the shades in this new essie Summer Collection.

This new summer collection brings us fun and flirty color choices without going overboard for your summer tips and toes. Think of them as soft shades of color.

“This year’s runways reflected the ease of the season with youthful, upbeat clothing in feminine
fabrics,” - Essie Weingarten, president of Essie.

As the summer fashion trend is all about mixing and matching, this years summer color palette allows for the same fun and freedom. Choose Miss Matched for fingers and Pretty Edgy for toes, or whatever you fancy. You cannot go wrong with any of these gorgeous shades. Just take a look at them.

Each polish, like all of the nail polishes in the essie line are 3-free – NO DBP, NO FORMALDEHYDE, NO TOLUENE.
