Get the Look: Marion Cotillard at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Celebrity makeup artist Christophe Danchaud created Marion Cotillard’s look for the Golden Globes using all tarte.

Inspiration: “Her statement-making couture dress is so flashy and strong on its own that I had to customize a makeup look that felt especially natural and fresh.”

Face:

  • Christophe mixed maracuja miracle 12-hour foundation in medium with tarte’s BB tinted treatment primer in light to ensure a glowing complexion.
  • To bring extra light around the eyes, he used tarte’s maracuja creaseless concealer.
  • Then he dusted Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in dollface over the apples of her cheeks up into the cheekbones.
  • He finished by applying a tiny bit of Amazonian clay finishing powder to minimize shine and set her look for the red carpet.

Eyes:

  • Christophe started by sweeping "meow" from the call of the wild Amazonian clay 8-shadow collector's palette all over her lids for a splash of gold. Then he smudged skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in onyx at the base of her lashes to create a jet-black lashline.
  • For a one-of-a-kind blue, he mixed two skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liners. He started by lining the top lashline with skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in amazonite blue and then topped it with skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in slate.
  • To finish, he swept multiple coats of lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara through her lashes.

Lips:

  • For a natural-looking pout, he traced her lips with LipSurgence lip tint in charmed and then added a dab of maracuja divine shine lip gloss in adored for a hint of shine.

Get the Look: Connie Britton at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Celebrity hairstylist Rod Ortega created Connie Britton’s classic 1940’s old Hollywood look for the 2013 Golden Globes using Leonor Greyl products.

“For Connie’s Golden Globes look tonight the inspiration was Rita Hayworth in ‘Gilda’.” To start off, celebrity hairstylist, Rod Ortega, dampened Connie’s hair and prepped it with Leonor Greyl’s Serum de Soie Sublimateur on the ends, and then on the roots he applied Leonor Greyl’s Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice.  He used both of these products together to guarantee healthy, high shine, and movable hair through the evening.

Rod then began blow drying the hair with a round boar brush, smoothing out the hair and finished drying it. Before using a heat styling tool, he recommends using Leonor Greyl’s Spray Structure Naturelle.  “This setting spray is very important because it’s going to give the hold for the style.”  Using a 1-inch curling iron and setting the hair with the setting spray, he let Connie’s hair cool and brushed the waves out with a large paddle brush into beautiful, shiny waves.  He then secured the waves with Leonor Greyl’s Lacque Souple, a couple of pumps of the Leonor Greyl Spray Structure Naturelle… “and voila, you have a finished red carpet look!”
