Get the Look: Jessica Chastain at the 2012 Golden Globes.

Jessica Chastain won the Golden Globe for best actress in the movie 'Zero Dark Thirty' in a beautiful sea foam gown, sleek hair and gorgeous makeup. Her makeup was done by Makeup Artist Kristofer Buckle with mostly L'Oreal Paris products.

Jessica's Chastain Golden Globes look was “classic Hollywood meets new Hollywood.” Kristofer’s inspiration for her beauty look was “water color as opposed to painting,” so he created washes of color instead of strong lines and shapes. Jessica wanted her lips to off-set the softness of her dress, so they decided on a deep berry stain for a bold pop of color.

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: Kristofer gave Jessica’s complexion uniform texture with L’Oréal Paris’ new Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) before using a foundation brush to lightly apply YSL’s Le Teint Touche Éclat in B10 ($55). Understanding that the red carpet is all about skin, Kristofer also used Revitalift Miracle Blur on Jessica’s décolletage, shoulders and back to create a creamy, “perfect skin” look.

STEP 2: To address any little imperfections and highlight around the eyes, Kristofer reached for the cult-favorite YSL Touche Éclat ($40).

STEP 3: He then dusted the caramel shade found in L’Oréal Paris’ Colour Caresse Eye Shadow Quad in What Happens in Vegas ($7.95) onto Jessica’s lids and used the bronze shade toward the outer corners of the eyelids.  He also used a bit of the bronze shade under her eyes to open them up.

STEP 4: On Jessica’s lashes, Kristofer applied three coats the L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara ($9.95). He used the waterproof version (“a must during awards season, especially for a nominee”) and only applied it on the top lashes to ensure her eyes looked lifted. In place of a liquid liner, he used the mascara to create a winged eye look that’s fresh and modern.

STEP 5: Jessica felt there should be an expressions of ruby in her makeup, so Kristofer swiped the L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Shine Stain in Berry Persistent ($9.99) onto her lips.

Melanie purposefully created a ‘goddess’ beauty look that was beautiful and healthy to complement Lea’s white, lace gown

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: To create luminous, dewy skin, Melanie dampened a makeup sponge before applying Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – she used a blend of two shades, #8 and # 6 ($59.00 each)

STEP 2: Melanie created a natural looking smoky eye by blending hues of champagne, baby pink and rich, warm chocolates.  She used L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Quad in 103 Good Luck Charm ($7.95) and L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24-Hour Eyeshadow in Bottomless Java ($7.95).  The Infallible shadow was smudged at the corners to create an effortless looking smoky eye.

STEP 3: Lea’s lashes were lengthened with L’Oréal Paris Shocking Extensions Mascara in Blackest Black ($9.95); one coat was applied to bottom lashes for definition

STEP 4: Melanie applied just a hint of L’Oréal Paris The Super Slim Liner by Infallible ($8.95) to create just a bit of definition near the lashes

STEP 5: For cheeks, Melanie blended two shades of L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blush - Pink Lift and Nude Lift – ($12.95) and applied to the apples of cheeks for a natural flush

STEP 6: Melanie swiped on NEW! Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer Lip Gloss in 526 (available in March 2013) onto Lea’s lips to create the perfect pink pout

STEP 7: And for her overall glow, Melanie dusted YSL’s Terre Saharienne Bronzing Powder in Golden Sand ($50.00)
