Golden Globes Beauty: Dianna Agron.

Pantene Celebrity Stylist Danilo styled Dianna Agron’s hair for the Golden Globes. This was Danilo’s first time working with Dianna, who he called a “total sweetheart.” Congrats to Dianna for Glee’s win for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical!

See a complete step-by-step below on how to get this show stopping look.

Danilo and Dianna decided on a half-up glamour set to complement her strapless J. Mendel dress. “When you style hair for the red carpet you have to take into account that it must look good from every angle,” said Danilo. “I wanted her hair to have the ability to be undone, have movement, and be shiny, but didn’t want her to worry about it all night which is why a half-up style was the perfect choice.” Although she was out the door before he knew it, Danilo thought of the style – “It was very simple, very pretty hair that was clean, contemporary Hollywood glamour.”

Here’s how to re-create Dianna’s hairstyle:

1)      Start with freshly-washed, towel-dried hair so it’s clean for styling.

2)      Mist your hair with the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Heat Protection & Shine Spray for a conditioning base, and then spray the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Root Lifter Spray Gel on your roots to prep hair for volume on top.

3)      Blow dry your hair, then use a dollop of the Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm to coat each section of hair before applying heat from the iron.

4)      Using a medium-to-large curling iron for the glamour set, curl hair down and under before setting to cool.

5)      Once hair has cooled in the set (10-15 minutes), release the curls and brush through to reveal voluminous waves.

6)      Lightly spread more of the Smoothing Balm through your waves as needed to clean up the slides and tame fly-aways.

7)      Part your hair to the side of your preference, smoothing hair back on each side with your fingers, and pin back with your hair pieces.

8)      Pull the remaining hair forward, shaping hair to appear full out of the hair pieces so the waves fall in front of your shoulders for a soft, elegant look.

9)      Use a finishing spray like the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Professional Level Style Shaping Hairspray on the front and sides of hair to lock in loose curls. Leave the back curls alone so they keep their flowing movement.

Her makeup was applied by Celebrity Makeup Artist Angela Levin.

Beauty Inspiration:
"Dianna's look was all about a bold, dark lip to offset her gorgeous white dress!"

Beauty Tip:
"I prepped Dianna’s skin with CHANEL Ultra Correction Line Repair Concentrate, and her base was Clea de Peau Foundation in shade 010.  I defined her brows with CHANEL Precision Brow Definer in Blond Clair.  On her lids, I used the CHANEL Eyeshadow Duo in Khaki-Clair, and Shiseido Dark Brown Tint Liner to line the eyes. I then applied two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. To complete the look, I lined her lips with Bobbi Brown Lip Liner in Henna, and applied CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in
Ballet Russe.”

Drew Barrymore for COVERGIRL 50th Anniversary.

Easy, breezy COVERGIRL attended last nights 50th Anniversary of COVERGIRL festivies with a beautiful look created by Celebrity Makeup ArtistDebra Ferullo.

Inspiration: It all started obviously with her dress. It was a gorgeous orange color that reminded us of the French Riviera so I wanted to create a fresh, dewy look.

On Drew’s skin I created a luxurious polished finish with COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and then warmed up her cheeks by applying COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Lush Berry for a natural sun-kissed glow.

For her eyes, we wanted to create some depth, but nothing too strong, so I created a wash of bronzes and plums using COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire all the way up to the browbone and under the eye and COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume. I then lined her eyes with COVERGIRL LiquiLineBlast in Brown Blaze and smudged it with my finger to create depth but without harsh lines. I finished the eyes with 2 coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara.

Lastly I applied COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Anemone on her lips to complete the fresh look.

Ellen Degeneres for COVERGIRL 50th Anniversary.

For last nights 50th Anniversary COVERGIRL party, Ellen Degeneres' makeup look was created by Celebrity Makeup Artist Heather Currie.

Since this party was representing 50 years of COVERGIRL, I wanted Ellen to have a classic, clean, and beautiful look. At the same time, because she has such vibrant eyes, I wanted to do something sexy and smoky to add a little glamour.

I began the process by prepping her skin with COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Serum Primer. I like to use the primer because it hydrates the skin and helps the foundation to last longer.

Next I used the COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Foundation. Ellen is a little tan right now so I used the foundation in Warm Beige, but normally I use Buff Beige on her.

I like to use the sponge that comes with the foundation, and I prefer to use it wet. Just make sure that all of the excess water is squeezed out of the sponge.

After the foundation I applied the Simply Ageless Concealer in light/medium. I used a brush, but it works just as well to apply with fingers. I basically put a little concealer under her eyes, and a tiny bit in the T-zone area to reduce any redness.

For Ellen’s eyes, I started by lining the eye with COVERGIRL LiquiLineBlast in Brown Blaze. I used my finger and smudged the line so that it wouldn’t appear hard. I then used an eye shadow brush and continued to smudge the liner area with COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers in Brown Smolder. I wanted Ellen’s look to seem more edgy so I added some of the COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Silver Sky on top of the shadow. Adding the metallic cream gave the eye a bit more dimension and a bit of glamorous sheen. I then added a very thin line of the COVERGIRL Line Exact in Brown. I did this to give the lash line more intensity. The last step for the eyes was to curl her lashes and I applied two coats of the COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara. Since Ellen is blonde, and typically prefers a more natural look, I opted for brown mascara.

To give Ellen’s skin that fresh glow I added some of the COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Royal Plum to the apple area of her cheeks. I prefer to use a synthetic brush for this, but the fingers can work just as well.

I then used a bit of the COVERGIRL Clean Pressed Powder for Normal Skin in Natural Beige, and just swept it lightly over her skin. Because I wanted her skin to appear natural, I focused the powder more in the T-zone area. We want the shine to appear more on the cheekbones and on the sides of her face.

Because the eyes were more of a focus for this look, I wanted to keep the lips more natural and subdued. I used COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lip Liner in Seduce, but I didn’t line the lip with it, I lightly applied the pencil to most of the lip area. I like to do that because it holds the gloss and lip color longer, and gives it a primer affect. Then I applied COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Clove to add a light luxurious sheer color and finish the look.
