Get the Look: Gisele Bundchen at the 2011 MET Ball.

John Frieda Global Creative Consultant Harry Josh styled Gisele Bundchen for the 2011 New York Met Ball.

While the tousled beach wave look has ruled the red carpet as of late, Harry Josh opted for a classic Old Hollywood-inspired style for Bundchen at the Met Ball this year.

Although Giselle's hair is already luminous and healthy, Josh began with John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist before blow drying to protect her tresses from the heat and seal the cuticles for flawlessly shiny waves.

Josh started by blow drying Gisele’s hair, curling each piece carefully and setting it to keep the shape. The curls were then brushed out to create a soft and sleek wave throughout. John Frieda Full Repair Touch-Up Flyaway Tamer was used which weightlessly smoothes flyaways for a polished red carpet look.

“I wanted to go for a sleek, sophisticated style for Gisele this year. The Met Ball is fashions biggest night and I thought this was the perfect look to complement the evening. The John Frieda Touch-Up Flyaway Tamer will keep her photographer ready all night.”

Perfect Ends Sheer Mist: This softening mist for Fine-Textured Hair protects heat-damaged hair with omega-rich Inca Inchi oil. Spray evenly through clean, wet hair, concentrating on ends and damaged areas to weightlessly repair and promote smooth, healthy strands.

Touch-up Flyaway Tamer: This portable wand polishes broken strands, smoothing flyaways and frayed ends with Inca Inchi oil to keep hair sleek and smooth. Brush the wand over dry, styled hair for on-the-go touch-ups and a boost of shine.

For her makeup, Gisele turned to Rose Marie Swift, creator of RMS Beauty.

Get the Look: Lauren Conrad at US Weekly’s Hot in Hollywood Party.

Amy Nadine, makeup artist for COVERGIRL did Lauren Conrad’s makeup for US Weekly’s Hot in Hollywood Party. I love the retro-glam look, don't you?

As a Style honoree for US Weekly’s Hot in Hollywood Party, Lauren wanted to showcase an outfit from her very own upcoming Paper Crown holiday collection.  Given that and her perfectly-coiffed top knot, we knew it was the just the occasion to rock a red lip.  Here’s exactly what I did using all COVERGIRL:

FACE

First I applied NatureLuxe Silk Foundation in Sandstone all over her face and neck with a sponge.

I then gave her a pretty flush with Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Plush Peach, first by warming it up between my fingers then swirling it on the apples of her cheeks.

EYES

Lauren is sporting her signature cat-eye winged liner using LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black.  Starting in the inner corner it was lightly dragged across the lashline then upward and outward towards the end of her brow. Tip: the harder you press the tip, the thicker the line, so start with light pressure than gradually press harder as you travel across towards the outer corners.

I followed with two coats of LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Very Black and tucked in a few individual lashes in the outer corners to complement the winged effect.

LIP

I finished with COVERGIRL LipPerfection in Tempt, a scarlet red color that I powdered for a matte look with translucent powder using an eyeshadow blending brush.
