Golden Globes Beauty: Hailee Steinfeld.

Makeup Artist Fiona Stiles created the beautiful makeup look for actress Hailee Steinfled for this years Golden Globe Awards.

Beauty Inspiration:
"Hailee was wearing a beautiful, long ivory Prabal Gurung dress with a sporty race back that is chic and youthful.  I focused on beautiful, luminous skin and a little kitten flick of black eyeliner to give it a fun,
slightly dramatic look, while still being age appropriate.  A little taupe/light brown shadow dusted along the lash line on the top and bottom added a bit of depth, a touch of peach flush to the cheeks and a nude lip keep the focus on the eye and the skin.

Beauty Tip:
"As a base, I used CHANEL Vitalumiere Fluid Makeup in Clair. On Hailee’s face I used CHANEL Poudre Douce in Peche Tendre, and CHANEL Powder Blush in Espiegle on her cheeks.  For her eyes, I applied CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Slate along lash line softly on top and bottom.  Her eyes were
lined with CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir. I used a soft wash of the pink in the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Murano mixed with the silvery taupe CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Sillage.  I applied two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir.  Finally I lined her mouth with CHANEL Lip Definer in Beige, and applied CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Beige Felin.”

Golden Globes Beauty: Anne Hathaway.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee did the glowing makeup for Anne Hathaway, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical nominee, Anne Hathaway.

Beauty Inspiration:
"Anne wore a nude rose sequin gown. The dress featured a strong shoulder, so I wanted to make sure the make up was approachable and feminine to allow the dress its full attention.”

"I used CHANEL Sublimage Concentrate to add an i ntense boost of hydration to the skin. Next I used Nars Oil free pro prime to help the make up to stay put. The foundation was CHANEL Vitalumiere Fluid Makeup, I love its dewy finish. I used Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting powder in Medium to pop Annie's cheekbones. On the eyes, I used CHANEL Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Sand, which is like a toasty rose gold. In the socket I added depth by adding a little taupe shadow.  I curled the lashes, applied one soft coat of CHANEL Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir, my go-to for all award shows! Her lips were prepped with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Care, then blotted and given a coat of CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Mademoiselle, and then topped with CHANEL Coco Shine in Bel Ami which gave the rose a violet hue. (Available in April). I tucked the lip color plus the CHANEL Natural Finish Pressed Powder compact inside her purse, and off she went!”

Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai created a refined but casual bohemian style for Anne.

ADIR ABERGEL’S INSPIRATION FOR ANNE HATHAWAY:
The dress was a statement on its own so Abergel wanted to create a mix between the style of curls seen in the1930’s and the 1970’s; a relaxed but fresh wave.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

Abergel applied Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip and sprayed Fekkai Coiff™ Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel from the roots to the end of the hair.  Next, he blow dried the hair lightly with his hands, letting her natural wave surface.  With a 1” barrel, he curled the hair away from the face, placing into pin curls. Abergel let the hair cool.  As he took the pin curls out, Abergel let the hair fall naturally into place with a center but messier part to achieve the bohemian vibe. Finally, he secured the look by spraying Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray.
