Get the Look: Katy Perry at the American Music Awards.

Makeup Artist Jake Bailey created the look for Katy Perry last night, for her appearance at this years American Music Awards.

"I wanted to do a sophisticated twist on the "classic Katy" look to complement the Vivienne Westwood couture dress.  We went extra dramatic with the signature liquid liner and lashes and went for a coral (orangey) red as opposed to a classic red to pick up on some accents in the dress.

I perfected her skin by buffing a liquid foundation onto her skin using a large kabuki brush and set it with a dusting of Guerlain's Les Viollettes loose powder. I warmed her complexion with a tawny blush from Nars called "madly" and swirled a tiny bit of a coral shimmer blush called "orgasm"...also from Nars on the apples of her cheeks for a little extra glow.

I elongated her eyes using a liquid liner marker from Le Metier. Then, I applied 2 sets of strip lashes and coated them with 2 coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast 24HR mascara (available in January!). This is an extra rich formula that lasts forever. I've been using this on all my clients for red carpets lately since I can’t always be with them for touch ups. I lined her lower lashline with COVERGIRL LiquilineBlast eyeliner in "violet voltage" I softened it by blending it out with a small shadow brush.

I used a bright coral red,  COVERGIRL  LipPerfection lipcolor in "flame". This was the perfect color to pick up on the dresses coral accents and complemented her pink hair :) I had Katy apply the lipstick directly from the tube and I refined the edges using a small lipstick brush."

Fekkai Celebrity Stylist Renato Campora Created A High-Fashion Sophisticated Up-Do for Katy.

The inspiration was a very sculpted, modern take on a French twist. Renato was inspired for this look after seeing Katy’s red carpet dress. The look was elegant and sophisticated but also innovative.

How To Get the Look: Renato began by applying Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel to wet hair in order to give it a firm base. He then blow-dried the hair while brushing it through with a flat brush. He used a one-inch curling iron throughout the hair to create body while giving it a sturdy foundation. Renato then heavily teased the hair. To create the final up-do, he pushed the front of the hair forward and wrapped the rest into a French twist, securing it with hairpins. To complete the look, Renato added an accessory made by Vivienne Westwood by weaving it into the hair with his fingers. He secured the look by spraying the hair with Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray.

Get the Look: Nikki Reed at the Breaking Dawn Premiere.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Fiona Stiles did the makeup for the beautiful Nikki Reed at the Breaking Dawn premiere earlier this week.

"Nikki's dress had a bit of a Grecian feel so we went for a clean, elegant look. Too much color would feel over the top. I focused on luminous skin that felt effortless, with a subtle hint of color on the eyes.

The Look: For the skin I prepped with Yonka's moisturizer and then mixed Tom Ford Beauty Traceless Foundation in "Natural" with a little Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in Golden so that her skin would have a soft, luminous glow. I always use the Beauty Blender to blend out the foundation.  I can't work without it, it blends makeup so well.  For the cheeks I used a touch of Inglot cream blush in #83 for a little soft warmth, applying out with my fingers and blending it out with a brush, and Benefit "Sun Beam" highlighter on the cheekbones and bridge of the nose for a pretty sheen. I set the base and blush with a light dusting of COVERGIRL Professional Loose Powder  in Translucent Medium.

For the eyes I used COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast  (the Lavender side of Silver Sky) on the lid and a bit under the lower lashes with a bit of the bronze side of the Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. I applied it with a brush to keep the lines soft and undefined. I popped a bit of the gold Sun Beam highlighter over the cream shadow to add extra luminosity. Afterwards I gave the lashes a good squeeze with an eyelash curler and put three coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume  mascara in Black on the top and two on the bottom.

On the lips I used COVERGIRL Wetslicks Amazemint Lipgloss in  Slaphappy over  COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipliner in Sublime."

Get the Look: Kristen Stewart at the Breaking Dawn Premiere.

Fekkai Celebrity Stylist AdirAbergel Created A Textured Up-Do for Kristen Stewart at the Premiere of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Inspiration: An edgy, yet romantic look. Adir was inspired to create an up-do that still felt like Kristen’s usual tousled and textured style with a touch of rockability.

How To Get the Look: Adir began by applying Fekkai Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel to the roots of the hair to build texture. He then applied Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout the rest of the hair and rough dried it to create a beachy and textured base for the up-do. Adir then took random pieces and created standard braids, fishtail braids and twists throughout the hair in various sizes, leaving the very top of the hair loose. He then took all of the hair except for the loose hair at the top, and knotted and twisted it to create an up-do. He used hairpins to create a very undone look. To finalize the look Adir backcombed the front of the hair to add volume, then pushed it back and pinned it in place. He secured the look by spraying the hair with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.
