Get the Look: Taylor Swift at the Kids' Choice Awards.

At the Kids' Choice Awards, Taylor Swift looked adorable as usual. Her makeup was created by makeup artist Lorrie Turk.

"Taylor and I decided that her look should be truly timeless, since she was accepting an award from the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. It was important that when she looks at a photo of this moment 25 years from now, the makeup look would stand the test of time.  Her classically-styled dress by Maria Lucia Hohan was neutral in color so we opted for a bright coral lip and a pretty flushed cheek for a pop of color.

I first brushed on COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation only where needed so that Taylor's beautiful complexion would show through. I then brushed on COVERGIRL Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush in Peach Perfection to add to her natural flush.

I applied the lightest color in the COVERGIRL Exact Eyelights Eyeshadow quad in Vibrant Browns from lashline to brow bone and used the bronze color in the crease to warm up Taylor's eyes and make their blue stand out.  I smudged COVERGIRL Exact Eyelights Eyeliner in Vibrant Pearl, a rich black color, along her top lashline and used Radiant Sapphire on the lower lashline.  I finished the eyes by brushing on loads of COVERGIRL LashBlast 24 Hour Mascara in Very Black on the upper and lower lashes.

Using a lip brush, I applied COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick Lipcolor in Cheeky."

Celebrity makeup artist Lorrie Turk created Taylor Swift's makeup look for last nights American Music Awards.

The American Music Awards Show itself was the inspiration for Taylor's look.  I wanted to reflect the youthful, fun vibe of this event.

With a foundation brush, I smoothed CoverGirl's Natureluxe Silk Foundation onto her skin followed by a dab of concealer on the inner corners of her eyes. I applied the concealer with the tip of my ring finger in a patting motion. CG TruBlend Minerals Blush in Shimmering Sands was used along the cheekbones to add highlight and color.

With a dampened eyeshadow brush, I brushed on COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in Tapestry Taupe from her lash line to just above her crease and blended that in an up and outward motion.  On the innermost corners of her eyes, I applied COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in Snow blossom with a small damp brush to brighten and highlight her eyes.  I lined just the tops on her lash line with a very thin line using COVERGIRL LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black. I finished her eyes by applying a couple of coats of COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara in Very Black to her upper and lower lashes.

I applied COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lipgloss in Dazzle directly from the applicator wand and then put it in her purse for any possible touchups later in the evening.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Lorrie Turk created the look for Taylor Swift at this years Country Music Awards.

I was inspired by the drop dead gorgeousness of the J. Mendel gown Taylor wore.

"The gown was a very cool toned dove hue and later in the show she wore a jewel toned sweater to perform in, so the color palette was cooler.  Because of the lack of time to make changes, the makeup on the red carpet had to work with the pared down look of the performance.  We only had time to make a quick lip color change.

I started by using COVERGIRL Natureluxe Silk Foundation for a fresh finish on her skin.  On her eyes I used COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast in Platinum Pop followed by a very thin line of COVERGIRL LineExact eyeliner in Very Black and finished her eyes with coats of COVERGIRL Lash Perfection Mascara on her lashes.

For her lips on the red carpet, I used COVERGIRL ShineBlast in Sparkler--and for the performance we switched it to COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Peony.

For a little color and shimmer on her cheeks, I finished by brushing on COVERGIRL TruBlend Minerals Blush in Pure Romance."
