Get the Look: Jennifer Lawrence at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Jennifer Lawrence is so refreshingly young and beautiful. She rocked the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards and was my overall favorite of the night. Her makeup was created by Jillian Dempsey with L'Oreal Paris products; her nails were manicured by April Foreman with Sally Hansen; and her hair was styled by Dove Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend.

Makeup:

For Jennifer’s makeup, Jillian was inspired by the sleek, form-fitting red hot Christian Dior Haute Couture dress Jennifer wore paired with Chopard jewelry, Brian Atwood shoes and a Ferragamo clutch. Jillian explains, “I decided to play off the vibrancy of her poppy red dress with both warm and neutral hues.”

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: Prep skin with L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Primer ($12.95) to create a silky finish followed by L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup ($10.95) and Makeup Forever Shine On ($30)

STEP 2: Dab the L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Color Lift Blush in Berry Lift ($12.95) under the cheekbone and blend outwards to create a health flush and highlight on the cheeks

STEP 3: To create a rich effect and build dimension on the eye, blend and contour shades of warm gold and coffee using L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in Army Brat 312 ($7.95)

STEP 4: Apply Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Black ($34) to create an exaggerated edge followed by multiple coats of black mascara for intense lashes with L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in Blackest Black ($9.95)

STEP 5: To lend a natural sheen to the lips, start with a pale pink stain like L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Shine Stain by Colour Riche in 183 Pink Resistance ($9.99) then layer a nude lipstick over it, L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Luminous Lipcolour in 181 Sheer Linen ($9.99)

Nails:

April Foreman was the expert behind Lawrence 's nail look, using Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Sheer Ecstasy for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture--Comedy or Musical nominee.

To get the look, Foreman shaped Lawrence ’s nails “sqound” giving both a square and round look.  Keeping her hands hydrated, Foreman applied Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect Hand Crème before applying 2 coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Sheer Ecstasy.

Hair:

"When I saw Jennifer's Dior Couture gown I immediately knew I wanted to pull her hair up to accentuate the amazing silhouette of the dress.

- I started by applying a large dollop of the Dove Style+Care Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse to her damp hair and dried with a diffuser attachment to encourage her natural curls.

- Next, I took random sections of hair and sprayed the Dove Style+Care Strength & Shine Flexible Hold Hairspray before wrapping the hair around a 1/2 inch curling iron to enhance the curls, and then sprayed Oribe Dry Texture spray all over and scrunched with my hands.

- Then, I took 3 to 4 inch sections of hair around the hairline and loosely braided them before pulling all the hair back into a low chignon and secured with bobby pins.

- As always, I finished with the Dove Style+Care Strength & Shine Extra Hold Hairspray to keep the hair in place all night."

Get the Look: Sophia Vergara at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Va va voom is all I though when I saw Sophia Vergara at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Celebrity makeup artist Kayleen McAdams got her ready for the big night using products from COVERGIRL.

I wanted to do a brick red lip on Sofia – something a little deeper and more interesting than a classic red lip. Old Hollywood glamour is a trend for awards season, so Sofia and I did our own twist on the look!

I started by applying Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in Classic Tan (#860) all over and set it with COVERGIRL + Olay Pressed Powder in Medium.  Then, I applied a light dusting of Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer in Brown Bronze and Cheekers Blush in Sierra Sands, a warm blush, on the apples of the cheeks.

I wanted to give the eye a wash of shadow, so I used only one shade, Eye Enhancers 1-Kit in Brown Smolder, and softly blended it over the entire lid.  I applied LiqulineBlast Liner in Brown Blaze along the bottom lash line and extended it past the lash line to give a slight wing. I finished off the look with three coats of Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara on top to really emphasize the lashes, followed by one coat on the bottom.

On the lips, I applied Queen Collection Lipcolor in Into the Red straight from the tube, blotted and added another coat to make it last all night. I gave Sofia the lipstick to keep in her clutch so she could touch herself up throughout the night.

For her hair, Jen Atkin, CLEAR SCALP & HAIR THERAPY Celebrity Stylist opted for a sleek look. “For Sofia's look, I wanted to go off of her stunning Lorraine Schwartz floral jewelry that she was wearing. I also wanted to compliment her black dress and red lips,” said Atkin.
Follow Atkin's tips below to recreate the look:

1. Always start with the right foundation and that means a nourished scalp and hair. Rinse and condition with CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY Damage & Color shampoo and conditioner for strong, beautiful hair that can hold any style

2. Next, blow dry hair straight with a Mason Pearson brush to keep the hair smooth and sleek

3. Once dry, use a flat iron only on the ends of hair – and not at the root – in order to keep the fullness throughout

4. Then gently mist hair with a shine spray to add gorgeous shine but not weigh hair down

5. Finish with a spritz of hair spray to tame fly-aways and give a moveable hold
