10 Must Have Makeup Palettes for 2017!

Yay for the new year! It's time to clean out the makeup bag and makeup drawers, throw away old, expired makeup and make room for everything new. With all of the new makeup launches, it's not hard. The makeup brands have been bringing it, especially when it comes to makeup palettes; there are so many new makeup palettes out! Makeup palettes are a perfect way to get a lot of makeup at a great value. With palettes that offer new or popular shades of shadow, great shades of blush, bronzer or contour, or even an entire face of makeup, there are so many makeup palettes that offer SO much. Here are 10 new must-have makeup palettes for the new year that have caught my eye for 2017.
1. NARS Narsissist Unfiltered Cheek Palette
There are two new cheek palettes (read all about them here) that are must-haves. These palettes make adding color and light to your cheeks easier than anything. The colors are expertly picked and the formulas are the best in the business — highly pigmented, finely micronized and simply spectacular. Choose from Unfiltered I with warm shades or Unfiltered II with cool shades.
2. Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette
This palette makes contouring the eye simple as it contains three color quads in neutral, cool and warm shades with everything expertly coordinated. With very easy-to-follow instructions, replicating the contoured eye look is simple with this palette.
3. Urban Decay Afterdark Eyeshadow Palette
Urban Decay does duo-tone shades like no one else, and this palette has six of them. This nighttime must-have also has six metallic shades all in jewel tones which are perfect for getting the new year off to a great start.
4. Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
This 12-pan palette has wearable shades in neutral shades that are infused with metallic gold pigments. With a mix of shimmering nudes and sparkling golds, this palette is a must at less than $12. I love the subtle sparkle!
5. tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette
I love the smaller to-go palettes that are perfectly portable for travel. This one has six metallic and matte shades in bronzes, golds and brown shades that blend like butter.
6. Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette
This new shadow palette contains an amazing 18 shades in beautiful peachy pinks, corals, bronzes and pops of purple that make great contrasts. The shadows are infused with an essence of peach which happens to be a great anti-aging antioxidant, it seems, and it is scented with peach as well.
7. tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette
This eyeshadow palette is pro-quality with 16 matte shades and four luster shades that kick it up for the new year. All infused with Tarte's Amazonian clay for long wear and blendability, these shadows are superior. The shades range from neutral to bold and with the addition of the lusters that have really nice duo-chrome finishes, I'm excited about this one.
8. Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette
This blush palette fuses three shades of blush with the beautiful illuminating effects of Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder. With ultra-fine pearl particles and three blush shades that work for all, skin is shaded and looks lit from within.
9. Smashbox Covershot Eye Palettes
Smashbox has created seven portable on-trend eye palettes that contain two larger base shades (so smart) with six trendier hues to create an endless array of looks. Choose from a great selection of palettes from Bold or Metallic to Softlight (my favorite).
10. tarte Tarteist PRO Glow Highlight & Contour Palette
This six pan highlight and contour palette contains soft powder and cream shades to create an easy glow. The shades are cool, designed to reflect light and work on everyone.
