Famed makeup artist Bobbi Brown is known for her natural palettes, so the nude part of her new Neons & Nudes Collection for Spring 2012 doesn't surprise me. The neon part did surprise me, until I saw just how beautiful Bobbi did the neons.
Bobbi says, "The most modern way to wear color is an accent on an otherwise nude face."
I agree. The only way to really have your lips pop is to have a subtle look on both the cheeks and eyes. Alternatively, you can really play up the eyes, as long as lips and cheeks are kept nude. Just look at how gorgeous this can look when done right. Bobbi's way.
The Bobbi Brown Spring 2012 Neons & Nudes Collection includes:
Ultra Nude Eye Palette - $45.00
The centerpiece of the collection, this new eye palette features six classic Bobbi shades that are sure to look flattering on everyone. Pair any of the colors with a bright lip for a look that embodies fresh, effortless cool.

Either of these two eye-popping shades creates a perfectly playful and stunning look when paired with a nude lip. Ultra Violet happens to be Bobbi’s favorite bright shade to use on and off the runway.

Blushes - $24.00
Nothing gives the face a lift like blush. These two universally flattering, muted pink and peach blush shades are the perfect complement to brightly accented eyes and lips.
Bobbi shares her secrets to mixing easy-to-wear neutrals with high-voltage color for a striking look that embodies fresh, effortless cool. It really is simple with her products.
Eyes
Using the eye shadow brush, apply Chino and Stone Eye Shadows from the Ultra Nude Eye Palette on the lower lid up to the crease line. Line the upper lashline with the Ink Liner in Really Black as close as possible to the lash line, making sure there are no gaps. Finish with two to three coats of Black Everything Mascara on eyelashes for truly stand-out eyes.
Lips
Apply Atomic Orange Lip Color onto the lips. This formula is highly-pigmented so it only takes one swipe for full and rich color. For an added glossy finish, layer with a thin coat of Citrus Lip Gloss.
Cheeks
Contrary to what you might think, you shouldn't skip blush when you're wearing neon makeup (on your eye or lips). Smile and dust Nude Pink Blush onto the apples of the cheeks with the Blush Brush. Blend up towards the hairline, then downwards to soften colors.
