The Latest LashBlast Mascara from COVERGIRL: LashBlast Fusion.

LashBlast girls listen up! COVERGIRL just announced the newest LashBlast mascara – LashBlast Fusion.  It’s COVERGIRL’s first ever volume and length mascara. Seeing how great both LashBlast and LashBlast Length are, I couldn't think of a better marriage of the two with this new beauty. If your lashes want and need it all, they can have it.

COVERGIRL Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath previewed LashBlast Fusion exclusively during Fall/Winter 2010 New York Fashion Week. Watch the video below to see a behind-the-scenes video of Pat backstage at the Anna Sui show using her new favorite mascara.

M∙A∙C Studio Fix Lash.

"Dramatic, daring Lashes have been a chic and urbane part of the modern Artist’s persona since Edie and friends made it all happen Downtown, on block-print canvas or grainy 16-millimetre film. Multi-media, counter-culture, the ultimate cool. In The Studio is the epitome of the look updated, featuring new Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix or Studio Brown, with the latest thermoplastic synth-rubber moulded brush, designed to kill clump as it separates lashes. Go for the bold stroke, as they do In The Studio."

In a word, this new M∙A∙C mascara is divine, and I am happy to report that it is a welcome addition to the M∙A∙C permanent collection.

I am using Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix, and I could not be happier with this beauty. The bristles on the wand are very short, stiff and are rubbery. This lengthens my lashes and keeps them separated like no-one's business. Take a look at my lashes with just one, quick and simple stroke.

I usually go for more of a full lash look, but the utter ease with dramatic length and separation make for a welcome surprise, and I am loving the look. For $13.00 each, this is just a few dollars more than my go-to drugstore mascara, and I have no problem penny-ing up for this one.

Studio Fix Lash is available right now at your favorite M∙A∙C counter, store and online at M∙A∙C Cosmetics.

Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara.

When I was at the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness kick-off event in New York City last month, one of my Bobbi Brown friends was gushing about this new mascara entry from Bobbi. I chuckled at the name, Extreme Party, as when I think of partying, I don't really think of Bobbi Brown making party makeup. But when I heard about how fabulous this mascara was, and how it will make lashes the hit of the party, I had to hear more.

You see, Extreme Party Mascara is said to give your lashes the utmost in big, bold and beautiful lashes. You know, the kind of lashes every woman wants to bat around the party, black tie or not. The genius of this mascara is how it works and applies, as it never ever feels stiff or brittle after even applying many coats. My friend said that she applied five coats to her lashes and they were very natural feeling while looking like luxuriously long, faux-lashes - though they were hers.

I cannot wait to try this mascara for myself and I will let you know my results. I am making a Nordstrom run this weekend, and hope it is in stock when I am there.

If you have tried Extreme Party Mascara yet, please chime in down in the comments. I would love to hear how it is working for you.

Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara is available online and at Bobbi Brown counters now, for $22.00.
