You guys…. 2019 is here!

I don’t think that I will get used to writing 2019 anytime soon nevertheless I don’t have a choice; the new year is officially here and I plan to make the best of 2019 no matter what it throws at me.

One of the first things I do in the new year is purge. I purge the old makeup and skin care items (toss those old, expired products!) and make room for the new beauty product launches. Don’t throw out your most used and loved products and palettes like that Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette; if you need a Naked Cherry Tutorial, check out some here.

First thing is first. Makeup. There are SO many new makeup products that just launched or are coming out soon. Get excited and start making a list of products that you want and/or need to try. There are quite a few good ones.

I could probably make a list of 50+ makeup products that I have on my new year wishlist, but I narrowed it down to… you guessed it, 19 in honor of the new year.

Bobbi Brown Haute Nudes Palette - I can’t get enough of a nude eyeshadow palette and this one has ten multidimensional shades in tones like only Bobbi Brown can do.
Milani Soft & Sultry Eyeshadow Palette - Milani has a thing for great shadow palettes and I’ve always been more than impressed with them. This 12-pan palette contains a mix of cool neutrals with smoked out metallics to take us from day to night with ease. I love how pigmented they are.
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Genius Under Eye & Face Magic Powder - I want to try this light diffusing setting powder under my eyes badly; I need all the help I can get and this powder promises great things.
L’Oreal Paris Unlimited Mascara - I’ve always loved the results I received from L’Oreal mascara, so when I saw the new Unlimited Mascara with its cone shaped brush and the promise to both lengthen and lift (I need both) I was intrigued immediately.
NARS Skin Deep Eyeshadow Palette - I am really lusting after this 12-pan neutral eyeshadow palette. I just LOVE NARS shadows and if my love for the recent Ignited palette says anything, I know that I will love this one, too.
Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lipstick - I’m a big fan of Bobbi Brown Crushed Lipstick and you know how much a love a liquid lipstick; this one has just GOT to be fab.
NYX Born to Glow Illuminating Powder - I’m crushing on this loose powder in Eternal Glow with its light-reflecting shimmer. I swear it’s a dupe for NARS Orgasm.
Laura Mercier Velour Lip Powder - This lip powder has me totally intrigued. I’ve used a few lip powders in the past and have not totally loved them, but just knowing that its pure pigment always gets me excited. I love the trio of Paris shades and I like these these include a balm to make application simple.
MAC Glitter Tripper Lipstick - The glitter and over the top shimmer trend is not going anywhere soon. I’m into it and have been wearing glitter (subtly) on my lips and eyes a lot lately. I am definitely picking up these lipsticks; there are three in the collection.
NARS Super Radiant Booster - This universal rose gold shade luminizer is calling me. I love how nARS makes a subtle radiance booster and I just know this is a must have to blend into moisturizer or foundation.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer - MUFE’s Ultra HS technology is known worldwide and the foundation is iconic. This formula is now available in a self-setting concealer and I cannot wait to try it. I sense a best-seller!
BECCA x Khloé Kardashian & Malika Haqq Bronze, Blush & Glow Palette - I am a HUGE fan of BECCA’s cheek products so as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. I am loving this one; the bronzer is divine and the blush shades offer just the right amount of radiance. Paired with the soft focus highlighter and you get pure perfection.
Clarins Glow 2 Go 2-in-1 Blush & Highlighter - This looks like the most convenient and portable blush and highlighting stick — and both color duos are universally flattering. I am ordering Sun Kissed.
YSL Volupté Plump-in-Color Plumping Lip Balm - Lips need all the moisture they can get this time of year and when paired with beautiful color and its a win. YSL is giving us a triple threat with the addition of a volumizing formula and I’m excited that it’s a high shine formula, too.
Tarte Tarteist Remix Lip Gloss - Another glitter product? Yes, Please! This one looks unique and I want it now! It’s a clear gloss but it’s filled with holographic glitter to top lips with a glittering holographic look that remixes any of the color you have on.
Milani Silky Matte Bronzing Powder - I love a great matte bronzer and as I mentioned earlier, Milani is such a beautiful mass makeup brand — phenomenal quality. I am excited about the mention of silky matte and I know this will be a longtime favorite.
Juno & Co Micofiber Rosé Velvet Sponge - Get on this velvet sponge craze ASAP. You may have seen this blue sponge make the Instagram rounds this fall and then the pretty pink one launched right before the holidays. I picked up a pair and my makeup life has been changed. I have a full post coming up soon, but I am using about 1/3 of whatever foundation, tinted moisturizer, concealer or CC Cream that I used to use and my skin looks extra flawless now that I use this innovative sponge. Too Faced Pretty Rich Diamond Light Eyeshadow Palette - I love a large eyeshadow palette and as soon as I saw the mix of shades on this one (more glitter!)
