Makeup Looks from the SAG Awards.
/Finally, we have an awards show. Aah - to drool over the gowns, the jewels, and the makeup at lats nights SAG Awards. Dresses of the night seemed to be in blue or silver, with some gals opting for brown. The hair - buns, and on the side. This was not my favorite look, and as I watched the red carpet arrivals, I found myself saying, not again. I wonder if a there was some sort of memo sent out saying the hottest look is the side swept bun, because almost everyone was wearing it! In the end my favorite part is indeed, of course, the makeup looks.
To simply sum up the night, the makeup looks were beautiful with smokey eyes and nude lips, with the occasional red lippie thrown in. I love the smokey eye look with nude lips, and I love to see how the various celebrities do it, so you will hear no complaints from me.
Andrea Bowen's makeup was flawless. I love how the smokey eye extended outward, making it into a bit of a cat eye look, without it being too much or too harsh. I want her lippie!
Debra Messing always rocks the smokey eye and nude lip, and it is very complimentary to her ever so fragile, porcelain complexion.
Eva Longoria Parker looks beautiful, with her famous dark eye, ooh la la lashes, peachy flushed cheek and natural lips. Her makeup might have been my ultimate favorite of the night if her lipliner were not so harsh - we are over that look and have been for about ten years now!
Kate Beckinsadle also looks stunning in the smokey eye, though she could have used a bit more lashes, in my opinion. He lippie is another favorite of mine, and looks almost identical to my new favorite lipgloss, MAC's Lipglass in 2N.
Chandra Wilson looked prettier than I think I have ever seen her. I wish she would glam up her makeup like this more often. Gorgeous!
Marcia Cross's overall look was probably my favorite of the evening. She really gets better with age, and motherhood is obviously agreeing with her. And her blush - I need to know what that is!
