I am amazed at what this has done for my hair and scalp after using these cleansing conditioners for just a short time now. It takes some getting used to, a shampoo and conditioner in one that does not lather - but the softness and fresh from the salon hair quality is worth it.

That was my quick snippet of a review on the WEN Cleansing Conditioner from late last year. I am sure you have seen the infomercials or watched Chaz Dean and the WEN line on QVC. I urge you to watch one of the shows featuring WEN and Chaz today. Like I said above, this is a very unique cleansing conditioner that replaces your shampoo, conditioner, detangler or any leave in treatments. WEN cleansing conditioners are detergent free, yet gently cleansing and moisturizing. Lavender is a universal cleanser for all hair types, particularly dry, dehydrated, or color-treated hair.

If you are looking to try just one thing from WEN, one of the cleansing conditioners is your way to go. There are five types formulated for various hair needs. Sweet Almond Mint is exceptional for fine to medium hair as it does not weigh hair down. Cucumber Aloe is perfect for all hair types, and extremely beneficial for oily scalps and dry hair due to its astringent and antioxidant properties.  Fig is great for medium to coarse, wavy to curly, and ethnic hair. It is exceptional on dry, dehydrated, or damaged tresses. Tea Tree contains moisturizing properties for medium to coarse, wavy to curly, and ethnic hair, but it is also wonderful for dry, flaky, or sensitive scalps. Finally, there is the Lavender, that I described above, and it is the one I use.

This is the ultimate moisturizing treatment for dry, damaged, or stressed hair. Run it through clean wet hair and leave on for about 45 minutes for a salon quality deep conditioning treatment. For a very intensive overnight treatment, put a plastic shower cap over wet hair that has been treated with the conditioner and sleep in it all night. Either way, this is one of the best hair treatments I have ever used.
