Bobbi Brown Peony & Python Collection.

Have you seen this beautiful collection from Bobbi Brown yet? She did a collaboration with Tibi, in which the cases were designed by Amy Smilovic, designer and founder of  Tibi. They are beautiful and match the palette that Bobbi had in mind when creating. This creation is called the Peony & Python Collection.

“The pinks and purples in this collection are inspired by peonies, my favorite flower.  Peonies are lush, decadent and delicate – just like the colors in the limited palette. I’ve also incorporated grey, a color that was big on runways this season.  A great neutral, it’s totally versatile and a cool counterpoint to pink.  And because I love accessories just as much as the girl next door, I asked Tibi to design a makeup case to match.” – Bobbi Brown

Peony & Python Palette - $50.00
Soft pink lilacs play off cool grays to create a distinctive eye that’s equal parts lovely & edgy. Palette includes six beautifully wearable shadows, including lid & liner shades, as well as a mini Eye Shadow Brush and mini Eye Smudge Brush. The palette comes housed in the case designed by Tibi.

The eye shadows are gorgeous and I have been playing with them everyday since I received them. It is almost as if these shades were made for me. I have always loved grey shades, but I'm equally smitten with the lilac and deeper purple shade that are in the palette as well - which is a stretch for me as I have never been that big of a "purple" fan. I have been using both the deep purple shade and dark smoky grey as liners and mixing up the rest in the palette for my own customized look.

I told you about this new mascara last week and I am surprised at how much I am liking it. I usually prefer a more voluminous mascara, but this one gives me long lashes that are defined and eye framing with just two swipes of the wand. It is perfect as an everyday mascara.
