Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Bar Palette.
/I loving being able to customize my makeup, especially when it comes to eyeshadow. When I heard that Buxom was going to offer up 40 new shades of eyeshadow and make them easy to pop in and out of these new Eyeshadow Bar Palettes, I was tickled to say the least. Everything about this is new -- from the innovative primer, infused formula to the large pans of shadows in never before seen shades, this is something makeup girls needs to pay attention to stat.
First of all the Customizable Eyeshadow Palette itself is very good sized and much more sturdy than I thought. It is made out of a nice, rich textured acrylic in a faux crocodile pattern with the BUXOM imprint on the front. It opens to reveal a full size mirror and enough space for size good size shadows. The palette even includes a mini double sized brush, though I do feel it will go to waste.
The shadows themselves range from nude to intense and vary from matte, to duo-chrome to all-out metallic. They are formulated with brand new technology for Buxom that have the shadows primer-infused. This means that color is locked in place all day. They glide on effortlessly with a silky powdery feel and really do last with full on color.
I really love the plush matte shades as they look gorgeous on. The duo-chrome shades that I tried were nice as well, though the colors I had were not my favorites. Some of the nude and taupe shades look amazing and I can't wait to try them. Unfortunately, I experienced quite a bit of fallout with the metallic shades.
You can also select from pre-curated palettes like Dolly’s Wild Side, May Contain Nudity, or Pastel Persuasion. I just ordered May Contain Nudity because a girl can never have too many nude shadow palettes now can they.
Take a look.
