COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation.
/The COVERGIRL NatureLuxe line of products touted by the brands newest celebrity spokesperson Taylor Swift is here. It has launched in a big way last month and the reviews on this foundation are pretty much spot on all around. I have read about the love on both Facebook and Twitter so I thought it time to chime in with my two cents on this more luxury drugstore foundation.
COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation is a liquid cream version that comes in a tube. It is silky, as it applies as such, and blends with ease. It feels heavier than your average liquid foundation, though not as heavy as your average cream one either. It is sort of like the best of both worlds. The fact that this foundation is formulated with cucumber water along with a hint of jojoba and rose hip extracts solidifies this fact. I think those of you who need a bit of coverage, not too full, and have skin more on the dry side like me, will enjoy the look, feel and most importantly the finish of this foundation. The only thing I wish this had was no scent. I am overly sensitive to scents and especially do not like it in my foundation. Luckily this scent is soft and quickly fades away, making it not that much of a bother - though I still wish it were not there at all.
NatureLuxe Silk Foundation comes in a nice range of 14 neutral shades, and based upon the color swatches over on the COVERGIRL website, they are pretty accurate. It retails for $11.99 and is available at drugstores and mass retailers now.
