If you're at all like me, when it comes to foundation makeup, you are either stuck in a makeup rut or just use a product you are meh about because you are too lazy to find your holy grail. I get it. Finding a foundation is HARD! I find one that I like and use it for years. I have two foundations that I really like and alternate between. I don't wear full-on foundation that often though, to be honest. On most days I use a tinted moisturizer or a CC Cream (or this version of it); I just really love these products. But I forge on and test the products that are sent to me in the hopes that I will find a foundation that will up the other and guess what? I think I found it in NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.

I am a HUGE fan of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and when I first got word of Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation I could only dream that it would give me natural creamy radiant coverage with a weightless feel. Absent of the creamy (there is no creamy in the name) it lives up to my hopes and then some. NARS has made a phenomenal foundation here.

Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is first and foremost a longwear foundation with full-powered natural radiance. It lasts all day with no oxidizing. It glides on the skin and looks gorgeous yet it feels like nothing is on your skin.

The staying power is enhanced by a mix of fruit extracts that actually help to smooth and improve your skin as you wear it. This helps to give skin its radiant look. The addition of specialized pigments fuse with your skin to match it closer than ever. There are 33 skin-matching shades and I was able to easily find my match in Santa Fe.

I normally apply my foundation with a fluffy brush for an airbrushed look, but I thought this would apply better with a stiff foundation brush given that it is quite liquid. I didn't get the desired finish that I thought I'd like so I tried it with a beautyblender which I think gave me a better look. The best way to apply (on the advice of NARS' artists" is to just use your fingers and press it into your skin so I have been doing that and blend out the edges with the beautyblender.

My skin looks like skin with coverage when I wear this foundation. Natural radiant coverage that looks seamless. It lasts all day, as I said and does not feel drying on my extremely dry skin. The finish is totally natural, not too matte or too radiant — there is no shimmer or shine here. I am really loving this one and it will be on my vanity and in my makeup bag for travel.
