I am a lip gloss girl through and through. I’ve probably mentioned it before, but I have more lipgloss in my makeup collection than anything else.
I just can’t seem to leave any store without picking up another new lipgloss. And let’s face it, almost every store carries lipgloss these days. I’ve been in stores like Francesca’s and Gap and they have lipgloss; I’m always buying one to give it a try.
I wear some lipgloss on their own or top off a nude lipstick with a shade of lipgloss to add some color to it. Sometimes if I am wearing a bold shade of lipstick, I will add on a sparkling or more nude shade of lipgloss as a topper to tone it down.
I don’t think I will ever give up my affection for a good lipgloss and I recently have fallen for a new one that was sent to me with a larger mailing of products. I am currently obsessed with the new Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine.
As it’s the season for dry lips, Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine takes care of my love of a lipgloss plus the formula gives my lips all the extra hydration it needs this time of year.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine gives lips three things in one and it is why I am so obsessed with it. It gives lips the vibrant color of a lipstick, all the shine you would expect of a gloss, PLUS the conditioning of a balm. I am really like it, hence why I am obsessed. There are 14 shades and a lot of them are nude and pinky nude — my favorite shades.
The formula gently plumps the look of lips to keep them looking smoother and more supple. With the special Hydro Boost formula when I wear the Lip Shine, I am actually improving the healthy look and, smoothness of my lips. Who doesn’t want that. My lips feel soft as I wear it and when I remove it.
The color of the Lip Shine lasts a goof five to six hours before I need to reapply and I don’t mind reapplying because it feels so balmy on the lips. It is not sticky whatsoever and it actually quenches my lips as soon as I apply.
As I mentioned, there are 14 shades that run from a True Nude and Soft Plush (a light pink) to a Deep Cherry, there ia a shade for all. I do find that the majority of the shades are in the warmer tones and nude or nude-pink. They are very forgiving and easy to wear.
Each Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine has a suggested retails price of $9.99 and they are available at Ulta, your favorite drugstore or mass retailer.
