Foundation Find: bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation
/bareMinerals is a foundation innovator, so it’s no surprise that I found the new Original Liquid Mineral Foundation something to write about. It’s my first foundation find of 2021.
The Original Liquid Mineral Foundation launched in mid-November of 2020, but it took me a while to give it a try. With less is more and mask-wearing a “thing” these days, I am not into a full-on makeup look. That means, I tend to wear tinted moisturizers on most days. I finally decided to give this new liquid mineral foundation a try, especially because of the fact that it is formulated with less than half the ingredients of other foundations. Hello - that has to be a good thing.
bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation is also the first clean, vegan liquid mineral foundation that is proven to refine skin texture, reduce visible pores & minimize redness. I need help in ALL of those areas, so yeah, I should have tried this sooner.
I have given this foundation a good ole try and have used it on and off for the past two weeks; I am liking it! It feels light-as-air on the skin while giving buildable, medium coverage. It leaves me with real, natural-looking skin with a luminous finish.
I also like that bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation is made with only 19 ingredients, While that may seem like a lot, if you are a label spy like me, you will know that 19 ingredients are nothing. It also has an SPF20 and it helps instantly blur the look of pores and imperfections, while also helping to improve skin hydration instantly and over time.
I have tried applying with a brush and sponge. Using a brush gives more of a natural look while using a sponge gives more of a velvety, perfected look.
