Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Nail and Lip Collection.

Guerlain is known for its iconic fragrance La Petite Robe Noire. For summer, they have introduced a fresh, unexpected and slightly scented range of nail and lip shades inspired by the namesake fragrance. Just look at the packaging and you know it's from the House of Guerlain because the signature upside-down heart shows reminds us of La Petite Robe Noire’s original perfume bottle — gorgeous. The nail and lip colors (as are the formulas) are equally exquisite.

La Petite Robe Noire Lipstick (Deliciously Shiny Lipstick) - $32
This is a gorgeous lipstick formula that packs a lot of pigment and a ton of shine. It is meant to be buildable. One layer to be subtle, two for a classic, chic daytime look and three layers for a bold look. It really is unique. The lipstick is softly scented with the heart notes of La Petite Robe Noire which is a delicious fruity floral scent. It is quite yummy! I love that you can see the color through the transparent case so I'm not forever fumbling for my lipcolor.

There are 20 shades in all. See them all here. I have three shades; My First Lipstick, Black Perfecto and Leather Blazer. My First Lipstick is a barely there shimmer -like lipstick that is perfect on top of any other color to add a lot of shine and shimmer to and will be in my makeup bag for a longtime to come. I really like the yummy scent and flavor to these. While I am not a huge fan of dark shades, Black Perfecto is the must-have vampy shade. Leather Blazer is a subtle bronzed berry and I am loving with a bit of a tan right now. I like to wear it with just one swipe, but it can be built up to have more color.

The shine and lasting power of La Petite Robe Noire Lipstick is pretty incredible. It feels very comfortable on the lips with a very hydrating, almost balm-like feel. The shine lasts all throughout wear, and I am getting a good four to five hours wear before I notice the lipstick wearing off.

La Petite Robe Noire Nail Lacquer (Deliciously Shiny Nail Color) - $25
These nail colors give a gel-like finish straight out of the bottle as they are ultra-shiny. Not only that, the formula uses a special resin that is easy to apply (with a flat brush) and long-lasting wear. These are alsoscented with La Petite Robe Noire’s sweet gourmand fragrance. You can pick up accents of red berries and petals as soon as you apply and it lasts about a day. To add more scent, simply apply a layer of clear top coat. It's a really cool concept.
