One of the best color cosmetic launches of the year, in my opinion, has been the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in the Oil-Free Matte version. This new IT Cosmetics CC Cream Matte has taken the makeup world by storm, and for good reason!

In that review, I talked about my initial thoughts after using the CC Cream Matte for about two weeks.
I have used the IT Cosmetics CC Cream Matte a lot more since then, and if you read my original review, you will see that I was not 100% happy with the color that I was using at the time.
In the summer months, I usually use the shade Tan in the original IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream, but in the CC+ Cream Matte, the shade Tan was not the right shade for me. I believe that because this formula uses a physical sunscreen versus a chemical sunscreen in the formula, that the colors are a bit different from formula to formula.
I was thrilled when IT Cosmetics recently sent me the entire shade range to try, and indeed, I was not the Tan shade, but I was the Neutral Tan shade. Neutral Tan is more of a light brown shade and it matches my self-tanning skin tone perfectly.
Now that the summer is quickly coming to a close, I am sure that I will be moving down to the Neutral Medium shade, which is a bit darker than Medium.
Here is a rundown of the shades from lightest to darkest.
- Fair - Ivory
- Fair Light - Ivory Pink
- Light - Taupe
- Light - Medium - Pink Beige
- Medium - Soft Beige
- Neutral Medium - Natural Beige
- Medium Tan - Golden Beige
- Neutral Tan - Light Brown
- Tan - Light Bronze
- Rich - Golden Brown
- Rich Honey - Caramel Brown
- Deep - Rich Bronze
