If you are a fan of IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream but have been longing for a more natural version of this holy grail product, listen up. The brand has listened and is launching the new oil-free matte version this week!

You heard that right, the new IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte is available for pre-sale RIGHT NOW at QVC.com and will be available at Sephora, itcosmetics.com on Friday, July 27th.

I have this new beauty in my hot little hands and have a complete review of this new matte CC+ Cream after using it daily for the past two weeks.

So, what exactly is the new IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte version?

Here is how IT Cosmetics describes it:

A full-coverage, color-correcting cream with anti-aging skincare—now oil-free with SPF 40 physical sunscreen and a 12-hour matte finish.

Developed with plastic surgeons, Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte delivers color-correcting full coverage, anti-aging skincare, and SPF 40 broad-spectrum physical sunscreen—all with a poreless, natural-looking matte finish that lasts. This multitasking, complexion-perfecting breakthrough instantly camouflages skin imperfections including dark spots without creasing or cracking and is clinically tested to reduce shine and control oil for up to 12 hours. It's also infused with charcoal to detoxify, colloidal clay to absorb oil, and tea tree extract to combat blemishes—plus, an advanced anti-aging serum made of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and antioxidants. You'll see powerful results instantly and more dramatic results over time.

It delivers seven benefits, all in one! Full-coverage matte foundation, SPF 40 UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen, brightening color corrector, hydrating anti-aging serum, poreless finish primer, dark spot concealer, and moisturizing day cream.

It is definitely a medium to full coverage, color-correcting cream. I feel like it gives me a natural matte finish, but one that still lets my skin show through and gives me a glowing finish if that makes sense. My skin does not look flat while wearing.

As soon as I apply it, it dries fairly quickly. I don't need to buff it into my skin as much as I do the regular CC+ Cream, as it is dry to the touch and sets in fast.

My skin is usually dry and dehydrated, but I have eliminated sugar and carbs from my diet over the last few weeks and HELLO oil. I am not sure how this would have worked for me if I was still really dry and I am not sure I will be able to use it in the winter. It feels like it sinks into my skin a bit, rather than sit on top of my skin. I believe this is the charcoal and clay working, which will be excellent for those who have issues with oil in their skin.

I have tried wearing it with my favorite Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, and it wears okay, but it seems to not sink into my skin as much when I wear it over a primer like NARS Radiance Primer or Urban Decay Complexion Defense Complexion Primer; both of the later work really well with it.

I love the finish and how it wears throughout the day. My flaws are diffused, just as with the regular CC+ cream, and the coverage is great. The overall finish is very smooth, and it looks even, and real on the skin all day long.

I have been applying it with IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin CC+ Skin-Perfecting Brush No. 702. You can get it as part of the Today's Special Value here. Any of the Heavenly Skin Foundation Brushes will work, though. My favorites are here and here

I love a physical sunscreen, especially as I get some laser treatments and I feel that a physical sunscreen is just so good at protecting against further sunspots, and one with a broad spectrum of 40 is really good.

The only issue I do have is that the shade tan was a bit more orange than the shade of tan in any other IT Cosmetics products. I will be ordering Neutral Tan to see if that is better for me. I know that I am the shade Medium in the winter months, and I am anxious to read reviews from others to see how the Medium shade holds up compared to the original CC+ Cream.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte SPF 40 will sell for $38. Buy it beginning Friday at itcosmetics.com or Sephora. It is part of Friday's QVC Today's Special Value (now on pre-sale) here. Look for more information on that tomorrow.
