Lancôme’s latest and greatest mascara, Définicils Precious Cells, is now available exclusively at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com.

Lancôme is sure to be pretty proud of all of their mascaras. You know that Lancôme is the lash leader in the luxury market. But this new mascara is one to be especially excited about. It’s Lancôme’s first mascara to regenerate the condition of lashes, minimize lash loss and, of course, make your lashes look fab.

 

Définicils Precious Cells High Definition Amplifying Mascara contains the following ingredients:

  • Swiss apple extract: The plant extract of Malus Domestica, already in Absolue Precious Cells, was shown to restore the environment of the epidermal stem cells in vitro. This extract contains cellular components such as peptides, lipids and sugars that can be assimilated by skin cells.
  • Madecassoside­: Derived from centella asiatica, a healing plant from Madagascar that helps strengthen and thicken lashes, Madecassoside is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine because of its healing properties.
  • Arginine: A nourishing amino acid with conditioning properties.

THE FORMULA

Définicils Precious Cells Mascara boasts an entirely new creamy texture.  Just as with the original best-selling Définicils, this formula not only defines lashes beautifully, but also creates a fuller lash look. A blend of five, triple-coated waxes delivers lash fullness from the lash root to tip. Additionally, the new Définicils Precious Cells Mascara formula glides on smoothly while enveloping lashes with conditioning agents. It’s super-easy to remove, reducing the chance of lash loss.

THE BRUSH

It wouldn’t be a Lancôme mascara without an innovative, performance-driven brush and Définicils Precious Cells Mascara is no exception. The new multi-faceted brush was specifically developed to work with this creamier formula. The short bristles help deposit the formula in between the lashes, while the flexible, longer bristles allow for a clean application. In combination, the formula and brush deliver optimal lash by lash fullness.

THE RESULTS: VISIBLY REGENERATED LASH CONDITION

From the first swipe, lashes coated with Définicils Precious Cells Mascara appear longer, thicker and simply more captivating. After four weeks, a panel of 101 women raved about the new mascara. Additionally, even after makeup removal, more than half of the women perceived their lashes to be in better condition and reported a reduced loss of lashes during makeup removal.

So, what do I think? I think I might have found the holy grail for my lashes. I do like many mascaras, but as this is like a primer, lash conditioner and amplifier in one, I don't think it can get any better. I have only been using Precious Cells for about two weeks and the difference, especially as I use it with Talika Lipocils Expert, is even more awe inspiring. My lashes are longer, fuller and thicker as in full of volume, in just one stroke of the wand. Of course, when I want all out "look at me now lashes", I apply two to three coats, but for everyday, my lashes are noticeably nicer with just the one coat.
