There are so many foundations out there in the makeup world that when a beauty brand decides to launch a foundation makeup, they really need to make it innovative and different. That is exactly what Marc Jacobs Beauty did with the brand new Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation.

MJB Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation is inspired by Marc's very own shameless attitude — gotta love that. But what is unique, is that this foundation is the first-ever flashback-free SPF foundation. That means you don't have to worry about your flash leaving you with a white cast when snapping selfies. It's also great for wedding photography and events.

Shameless Foundation is quite hydrating and buildable. It starts out with a light, natural coverage but can be built up to medium and still hide flaws and look natural at the same time. It boasts 24-hour wear. I don't know too many people out there wearing foundation for 24 hours, but that does mean that it is long wearing and it wears well. I didn't experience any oxidation after wearing Shameless Foundation for 16+ hours.

Marc Jacobs Beauty did a nice job with the color range on this one, so I expect it to be well received and easy to find your shade. Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation comes in a range of 29 shades, which were developed to fit all skin tones. From ultra fair to very deep, there is a nice selection here.

To find your shade, look within your fair, light, medium tan or deep shade family. From there, narrow in on the shades the look closest to your skintone, taking into consideration your undertone. Each shade is labeled with a "Y" or "R. Y is for those with warm, golden or yellow undertones. R is for those with cool, rosy or red undertones.

I feel like the application of Shameless is key. It is easy to apply and build. It is very lightweight and you can use your fingers to apply and press into your skin or you can use a damp beautyblender and blend it out. The best (and preferred way) to apply Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation in order to get the most flawless finish is by using the new The Seamless Liquid Foundation Brush.

When using the new brush, start with a thin, even layer so your skin can reap the skin and SPF benefits. Then just build up the foundation in the areas that need more coverage.

One of my favorite things about Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation is that I don't need to wear a setting powder with it. Even though it is hydrating, it leaves skin with a natural-looking finish, nothing too shiny or dewy.
