Can you even believe the NARS brand is 20 years old? It is! In celebration of its 20th Anniversary and going to back to their beginnings and how NARS Founder and Creative Director François Nars originally launched his namesake brand with a collection of 12 unforgettable lipsticks, NARS is celebrating in a HUGE way! NARS is launching The Audacious Lipstick Collection: lipsticks so shamelessly seductive in touch and texture, the sensation is absolutely just that - audacious.

I am absolutely loving these lipsticks. From the sculpted bullet with the NARS logo embossed in the lipstick to the metallic case with magnetic closure and that is just the beginning. These are highly pigmented lipsticks that offer full color payout in a single stroke and it's a color that lasts. The color glides so smoothly over my lips and it feels so nice and hydrating on the lips. The formula is actually filled with nutrients that moisturize, smooth and volumize. The coverage is full and simply beautiful.

Brigitte is a gorgeous rosey coral shade that is described as a nude rose. I found it to be a bit more coral on my lips, but I am simply loving it. It offers full color and coverage that lasts. It has a very smooth and creamy finish with a bit of satin look too. It is not full on glossy, but enough where I do not feel like I need a lipgloss on top.

Juliette is as it is described, a pink coral, and a bit on the bright side. This is perfect for my coloring and I love it for this time of year. Again, it glides on smooth and offers full color coverage that lasts. It also has a satin, almost glossy look to it and I don't need additional lipgloss on top to get the lip look I like.

Perfect to go with the new Audacious Lipstick is NARS Velvet Lip Liner ($24.00). This is a must have liner to frame, fill and prevent feathering. The upgraded propel/repel design allows for precise application with a smooth, sharp finish.

NARS Velvet Lip Liner Anse Soleil and Waimea

There are twelve Velvet Lip Liner shades that coordinate perfectly with all of NARS lipcolors. I have Anse Soleil which is a neutral Coral Pink that goes with all coral, peach or pink shades very well. I think it is perfect for my spring and summer shades. I also have Waimea which is a Nude Peach Pink, a more nude version of Anse Soleil and perfect for year round shades and what I would wear in the fall and winter.
