NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation.

I am so picky about my foundation, I can't even explain how particular I am. You know I try all of the foundations that come across my desk. I may like how one feels or covers, but in all honestly, I most often go back to my favorite Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. There are a few others that I use on the weekends such as this or this, and others for a few days here or there, but Armani's LSF just offers the perfect amount of coverage and long-lasting finish for me. Well, move over Armani - you have met your match. I am love with another foundation and I am shocked becasue this one is so incredibly different. Why? It is in powder form! I shouldn't be too surprised because it is from no other than NARS and I am such a fan of their face products already. Ladies, meet NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation. You need to try this foundation stat!

NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation is a super silky and ultrafine powder foundation that leaves the most beautiful radiant finish to the skin. It goes on with medium coverage but can be built up to more. It truly feels like nothing on my skin. I love how my skin looks radiant, yet not shiny - and the best part is that my foundation coverage lasts all day, even without primer. How amazing is that?

I have been applying the NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation with the enclosed sponge dry and then buffing it around with this brush which tends to even it out a bit more. I just ordered NARS' Mizubake Kabuki Brush to see how it will be for buffing as well. Although it is not designed for powder or foundation, it looks like it would work well for me.

For a more matte finish, NARS suggest applying the All Day Luminous Powder Foundation with a dampened sponge. I honestly haven't tried that yet, as I simply love the luminous, radiant look I get when applying it dry, as I described above.

It is important to note that All Day Luminous Powder Foundation also contains Broad Spectrum SPF 24, which is essential. How they get that into a powder is beyond me, but there are a host of good for you ingredients in the powder due to NARS' Luminosity Enhancing Technology as well. This means there is a blend of 17 amino
acids, a Vitamin C derivative and Marine Fennel that promote cell renewal and helps to reduce the look of hyperpigmentation and wrinkles. I know I need that!

NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation Stromboli

I have been using the shade Punjab and it is the perfect shade match for me. In NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, I use Stromboli, so keep in mind that you may be a bit lighter in this powder. Stromboli was a little bit too dark for me in the All Day Luminous Powder Foundation. It could be that I am not self-tanning as much any more as we are coming off summer too.
