NARS is known for developing innovative and powerhouse lip products. When they launch a new lip product, I take note. When I was sent the new NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment to try, I had to try them and tell you about them right away; this insanely pigmented lip formula is so lightweight, long-wearing and beautiful, and comes in 20 shades.

NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment Review + Photos

I am really liking the Powermatte Lip Pigment formula. I'm not regularly a true "matte" lip color fan, but I like this one. This lip pigment feels like nothing on the lips as it glides on with an oil-like feel, using the brand new, exclusive doe-foot applicator. The applicator delivers full-color coverage that does have a matte finish once it dries down, but it is not too matte if you know what I mean — It is more of a natural, flat finish that is very wearable. The matte color does not settle into lips or lines and just looks like pigmented lip color; it's nothing short of beautiful.

The colors in the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment lineup is stunning and ranges from nude to black. There are 20 shades, as I mentioned above.

I have found myself wearing Get It On and Give It Up, both, a lot. These are extremely wearable and I can't say that about many lip colors where I can wear both a nude and a bright.

I love the entire campaign that features Bella Hadid, shot by NARS Founder & Creative Director, François Nars. The campaign was inspired by 1970’s rock and roll and it's all sorts of edgy — it's just a taste of what's to come for fall.

NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment will sell for $26 each and will launch EXCLUSIVELY July 5th on the Sephora Mobile App ONLY. It will then be available on July 6 at NARS boutiques and narscosmetics.com, with wider availability July 13 at Sephora and sephora.com.
