In case you haven’t noticed, I am a HUGE fan of eye palettes around here. When it’s a NARS eye palette, I am almost guaranteed to love it. Unless it’s filled with crazy shades or the brand was to all of a sudden change the formula, most NARS eye palettes go right into my top vanity drawer.

The new NARS Skin Deep Eye Palette is my latest obsession and it is for a good reason. Just look at this beauty.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a NARS palette laid out like this one before. It’s super smart with the base shades that you know we are going to use the most.

Let’s look beyond the base shades. All of the shades are neutrals, yes, but they can take you from a basic everyday eye to a bombed eye smoky eye to get you through a black tie event. This is a staple eyeshadow palette. Whether you decide to wear it bare or wear it bold, this is an amazing palette, no ifs, ands or buts.

The Skin Deep Eye Palette contains an array of rich mattes, lustrous shimmers, and smoldering metallic shadows, twelve shades in all. And all shades are super silky as they glide on over the eyelid. You see, the formula is created with NARS’ Pigment Power Suspension for high-impact with a silky effect.

With the mix of shades, you can highlight and line, define and crease — it is easy to come up with a multitude of looks. It is one of those palettes that I know I will be going back to again and again. Especially as the formula is so goos; I get full-on color in a single swipe, the shades blend with ease, last great (though I do use an eyeshadow primer) never crease or fallout.
